So what if it isn't an alternate reality as much as it is Thawne being his usual evil self and going back in time to change these specific events and it is up to the Flash(es?) to return things to the way they were/are?
"Sure, the production company would be losing money, but wouldn't this film work a little better as more of a horror/action film?"
It WOULD. But unfortunately the movie industry isn't looking for the approval of fanboys as much as it is looking to make money.
" i was also dissappointed with the art especially in "origin of the species".. "Dude, Azaceta is trash. I think he is trying to go for that Golden Age look to his art, but he fails miserably. Everything is too square and too flat. Tell me that Peter doesn't look like a Mexican either (not that I have anything against Mexicans, he just looks that way).
Also, the way they handle things and interact with their teamates is so different. Ollie is so likely to crack a joke, while Batman is just...always...serious. That's a clash of personalities if I ever heard of one.
I definitely agree with that. Although I am a huge Batman fan, I only like him in his solo books, and its mostly for this reason. When he is with the League, Batman has this air of arrogance about him that, one can only assume, rubs the others the wrong way (I know it would annoy me). Come to think of it, the only time I can even remember Batman even cracking a smile is in "The Killing Joke" after the Joker tells him the joke about the two prisoners and the flashlight.
Ollie on the hand is always cracking jokes and teasing people just to lighten the mood. He doesn't take the serious, preachy route that Batman does.
