Ultimate Cap has 616 Cap beat in almost every category, except his tactical mind and the ability to keep his cool. I think what a lot of people are forgetting is that Ultimate Cap is basically US Agent and Cap's beaten him plenty of times. I think in the long run it would be a good fight, but I think 616 Cap would play on Ultimate Cap's weakness of being hot headed and a bit of a bully and let him beat himself.
@nova_prime_: It says he might take a break from acting after his contract is up. So that just 100% proved my point. He's not going anywhere after Avengers 2. Cap 3, maybe.
That's what makes them rumors and so what if he has movies left on his contract, actors get out of contracts all the time.
@nova_prime_: What rumors? Chris Evans has a 6 film contract (he's done 4 now counting Cap 2 and Avengers 2) and Cap 3 has already been confirmed for May 6, 2016.
Here's a link from Huffington Post and technically he's been in 5 movies with his role in Thor 2. With this type of announcement it wouldn't surprise me they run the route of Cap's Death and have Bucky take over the reigns as Captain America. Right now its just something he said in an interview and I haven't heard anything else, but hey guy gets burned out the guy gets burned out. I'd rather him walk away then just mail it in.
I love Chris Evan's Captain America. He's different from comic Steve in that he's a little bit naive, not sure of himself, and somewhat goofy at times. He's not "the man" yet either. He dies still have glimpses here and their of the powerful leader comic Captain America is, and I find it fun watching this more fallible Steve. As time goes along, he'll become more and more of that living legend comic Captain America encompasses. Great interpretation overall.
I hope we do get to see him become the living legend, but if the rumors are true Evans plans on "retiring" after Avengers 2.
