The Nova corps actually appears to be Sam's family. His dad and mom, his little sister is holding her fathers hand and Sam is to the side.

why do I feel that this is going to reek of gurl powah , I keep hearing Bender from Futurama. "Single female intergalatic super hero doing superwoman stuff " whenever these previews are released. I have a feeling this will be cancelled within 8 issues. They keep going back and trying to make Carol like Green Lantern for some reason, I guess because both flew planes?.....what Marvel doesn't realize is that Hal is interesting and has an entire mythos to back up his series, many of the Captain Marvel stuff fell short because Captain Marvel was a space level power player, he worked better out in space because earth criminals needed to be above your average super villain to pose a threat to him. Maybe if they took her into the intergalactic area again and had her fighting alongside the likes of Adam Warlock / Gladiator and the Annihilators / Nova / Silver Surfer and got Carol off earth the Ms Marvel titles would last longer. Also....there is one and only Captain Marvel, he died from cancer in a very well written, well drawn story the whole idea behind the character is that to have the title of Captain Marvel you have to EARN it and Carol has not earned it.

Also it just occurred to me, many of the former people to take the title Captain Marvel are dead now....god maybe its marvels plan to just put Carol out of her misery once and for all...

I would really love to see a Ghost Rider anime, he never got much love during the boom of cartoon shows in the mid 90's. He made an appearance in one episode of Fantastic Four for a whole 2 minutes, granted he pretty much ko'd Galactus and left and had a team up with Hulk and was seen in a memory in X-Men.

Personally I would have it revolve around the formation of the Midnight Sons and lead into Midnight Massacre and Siege of Darkness. This way you get Morbius / Nighstalkers and the Darkhold Redeemers and Doctor Strange all in one go.

On the flip side I could also totally go for a Guardians of the Galaxy aka the Starlord years tale, focusing on Starlord forming the group and battling the Phalanx / Ultron you could even have the Nova corps show up. Annihilation War through War of the Kings could keep the show going for at least 2-3 seasons. Starlord / Adam Warlock and Gamora already made an appearance in Planet Hulk anyway.

the thing that many people missed with the whoel Schism thing is, Logan is aware that these children are going to be put in danger. He just feels that they should have a chance at a normal life if they wish to leave the X-men when they become adults. Cyclops was doing nothing to train or prepare them, when was the last time that there was an actual class taught on Utopia post Dark Reign? Cyclops didn't give any of the students a chance.

Wolverine is killing people that are or could be threats to the school. If he thinks that say Foolkiller could one day pose a threat to the students or attack the grounds he's going to gut him first chance he gets.

Everybody knew where Xavier's School was, everybody knew where the "school" on the mainland San Fran was. Now Cyclops has raised an island off the coast that could just as easily be attacked is.

The school grounds actually now pose a threat for any invaders to the actual school , Karoka and the entire buildings a danger room played pivotal plot points in this weeks issue. Imagine if the entire Enterprise was a holodeck, First Contact would have lasted all of 20 minutes, granted 20 minutes of the crew running around with holo tommy guns massacring borg.

I think Wolverine is trying to show Quire that he can still have fun while doing good with his powers.

I really wish that we have an Avengers Academy / Jean Grey school crossover in the future, they both are trying to accomplish the same things.

Anyone remember the New Fantastic Four? The group that replaced the old FF when it was presumed dead in space? The group that attempted to bring the Human Torch to justice after setting fire to Empire State?

if you remember, it took Apocalypse to cure Xavier and Nathan was infected way before Xavier by Apocalypse no less to procure the perfect host. Even Apocalypse does not have a full understanding of the Celestial technology he uses.
