The thing is that Spider-Woman isnt iconic at all like youre suggesting. 99% of people who arent comic fans have NO idea who she is and alot of comic book fans dont either. This could work in her favor since like you said it gives the filmmakers alot of leeway but the absolute BIGGEST problem is her name. The general public would automatically start comparing her to Spider-Man or may just think of her as a cheap Spider-Man knock off. Iff she were to appear in an Avengers sequel she would probably appear as Jessica Drew, not as Spider-Woman.

@redkevlar: The BIG difference between YJ and The New Batman adventures, and why Jason Todd has a real good chance of being in the show is simply that Jason was dead when they were making TNBA. Jason has had a surge of popularity in recent years with his return as Red Hood and being featured heavily in a new animated movie. He even has his own ongoing right now. All of these give Jason a REAL chance of being in Young Justice at some point. Heck even if he wasnt all that popular that wouldnt be the reason why he isnt on the show. They put Artemis, Miss Martian, and Aqualad as main characters on the show and their popularity pales in comparison to Jason even at his lowest point.

That would be pretty cool. I would be fine with him dropping Superboy or maybe Teen Titans in favor of Superman but I would want him to stay on Red Hood, UNLESS Judd Winick would be up to writing it then I would be cool with him dropping it. What I really want though is for Teen Titans to get a new regular artist. I dont dig Brett Booths style.

@pinkdaizygirl: I think it was implying that Robin had skipped a few grades and had just entered High school. This would also make Barbara a couple years older than Dick which I think was always the case in the comics. The show creators and DC both confirmed early on that Dick in Young Justice was 13 years old and had been Robin for a few years already.

Im hoping at least two of those were Jason Todd and Starfire. I would LOVE to see Jason come back as the Red Hood to take on the team with the original Roy as Arsenal and Starfire to give us an Earth 16 version of the Outlaws!

In the most recent ComicVine podcast James Robinson calls the main Earth Earth Prime, so that could be its new designation

This would suck for the most part since I MUCH prefer nearly all the DC creative teams to whatever Marvels pushing. Though maybe Ill give Marvel Rob Liefeld off of Deathstroke and put him on Uncanny X Force for old times sake, and take Rick Remender and put him on Deathstroke. I would also switch want to take Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos and put them on Blue Beetle. Make of that what you will.

@jointron33: The ORIGINAL Huntress was from Earth 2 so you could actually say that the REAL Huntress is finally coming back

@DarthShap: Once again show me proof. Unless there is a comic page saying that Action Comics takes place only a few months before the formation of the Justice League, then it isnt canon. Even if some creator said it at some point they may have been misinformed, or things couldve changed. What one creator says in an interview isnt comic canon. So my earlier theory about the ages of the JL is still perfectly Valid, and makes alot more sense than what youve been trying to say.
