Well this is something new. Everything is completely dark here. With each step I take I hear a clank on the metal floor. At least that tells me I'm not stuck in some abyss somewhere, and the lights are just off. Extending my hands in front of me I caution myself so I won't walk right into a wall.
When my hands finally touch the cold metal I slide them down to grab a hold of a doorknob. Turning it I walk into a room with a little blue light coming from the middle of the room. Getting closer I take notice that it is actually a computer screen. I wipe off the dusty screen to only see that it's completely blue. Underneath it is a keyboard with strange letters I have never come across before. Pressing a random button the solids screen switches to symbols pouring down like something in the matrix.
Pressing another button the lights around me flicker on revealing my surroundings. There is dust pretty much on everything, which means this place has been abandoned for quite a while.
I soon walk around the rest of the ship. There are about eight bedrooms, one bathroom, and even a nice kitchen. The crew who had been on this ship before has been gone for a really long time. I don't exactly want to know where they went, but why they had to abandon this place?
Walking back to the control room I notice there is a window being covered with grey panels. I press the red button beside it.
The metal blinds slowly roll up to reveal billions upon billions of stars. I couldn't help but gaze at all of them. I have never before seen this many of them in any universe I've jumped to. Everything about this is absolutely breathtaking.
In the distance I watch one specific star beginning to glow more brighter than the rest of the others. In a second the star is gone. Vanished.
I quickly loose my balance as the ship rocks back and forth. Falling to the cold floor I raise my head to see the computer screen switching to a red screen. I push myself onto the closest wall and hold on as the whole entire thing rattles. Making it to the computer my hands cover my mouth in shock from what it says.
"Universe 2101 Gone"
A whole Universe is.. dead. Just like that. All those lives. Forever gone. The entire ship finally stops moving. Being a little dizzy I hang on to the edge of the table with my right before I could regain my stance. With my left hand I move my pink bangs out of my face so I could take another look at the screen. It then hits me that it appeared in English, and not the weird lettering on the keyboard. Glancing back down I see the symbols have switched to letters I could now read. Does this ship adapt?
"What do I do?" I type hoping that this might be some type of super computer. Suddenly list of Universes appear before me.
"Gather them then proceed to Universe 1391" Excuse me but how I am even supposed to know who I'm supposed talk to?
"Gather who?"
"Go."
Before I know it a golden bracelet appears wrapping itself around my right wrist. Looking down there is a red sphere inside of it with a number of the Universe it wants to take me to.
Let's see where this brings me.
