if the u.s wants to make a "net force field", they should make the shield other countries make inbounds to u.s servers. for exmple google earth! !!!! other countries should not know where are military bases are located let alone all cities and streets. the u.s on google earth should be a big black shadow when other countries search for it.
also, this video is not about the government, it's about companies censoring your freedom of speach and entertainment. the government doesn't use the internet to do their behind the scene work... they use a deeper version of the net called the intranet/extranet.
So corporations are salty because people aren't buying the products they invest loads of money on. Simply make entertainment people would spend money on. This Act is bull.
@Tileso: The thing is, corporations are not only greedy, they're lazy. The RIAA tried to block VCRs from going on the market back in the day, because they were afraid that if people could just record their shows and watch them whenever, it would kill their ratings and profits. Rather than look at developing trends and figure out how they can take advantage of them to make a profit, they try to stand in the way of technological progress so they don't have to change their precious business model.
