The future of the X men is simple. They will continue to live through hell, face persecution, and continue adventuring until they (individually) die. Then they will eventually come back to life and continue to live through hell, face persecution, and continue adventuring.
Okay, I'm going to be completely honest honest here, i've been Marvel over DC ever since i've started reading comics. But this whole reboot might just convert me.
Also, @Trodorne said:
WHALES! come on everyone lets call on the WHALES!
We can't call on them, Abridged Nappa killed them all.
I started reading comic right at the end of Secret Invasion, and it just feels like theres ALWAYS some event or other big thing, just once i'd like to experience a little bit of time where all the characters just STAY IN THEIR OWN BOOKS AND LEAVE EACH OTHER ALONE FOR AWHILE.
@cdeoleo: Actually, the FF are probably the only major characters who's powers didn't get their abilities from an attempt to recreate the super soldier experiment. They got them through an unrelated attempt to pass through the N-zone.
I'm looking forward to this more than any other Ultimate relaunch titles. Especially since Kitty and Bobby weren't interested in being superheroes anymore in Ultimate Fallout. Also, i want to see Derek Morgans role in this, and the Hulk's, they were my favorite parts of Ultimate X.
I didn't even think about race as an issue here because i didn't think it mattered... at all. I know some dumbass on the news started bitching about it without realizing that this was happening to an alternate version of spider man. I'm just more interested to see where the story goes. This is an interesting step and i want to see what happens. Why should the characters ethnicity matter?
