@angelalfonso: Neither am I, but out of the shortlist of actors we got he is the best choice for the role. He was considered and almost got the role for TASM, but lost it so that's got to mean something I guess. I still want Norman Bates to be Spidey.

So we may have our Spider-Man, I curious as to what the rest of the cast the possible cast will be.

I was talking about Logan Leman possibly being cast as Spider-Man. I've only ever heard people liking the idea and wanting it :)

If it's Lerman cool. While I'd rather see him be Percy, I have wanted to see him be Spider-Man. He definitely has that hero quality to him. Cool thing is I've only ever heard positive reactions from fan and I've always heard his name thrown around for who should be Spider-Man come for another reboot.

Also the dumbest and most out of character thing to come out of that story...

An appearance from Daredevil would be cool and make the most sense. Having him appear in a Spider-Man movie would also test an audience for a full out movie not a TV show.

That's actually some cool picks on that shortlist, I can only see a couple as Spider-Man (Logan, Douglus, Dylan, Anton or Freddie). I'm gonna root for Freddie Highmore because I love the kid. Great actor all around, and I haven't seen him in awhile. Probably won't get the role, but that's okay. :)

As for Garfield being in another Marvel movie as a different hero, I don't know who he could be. I've heard Nova thrown around. All I know is if he comes in contact with the new Spidey its gonna feel weird and funny.

2018 release day seems plausible and cool, and if they're already working on a script cool. I'd like to know who is writing it first, but I trust Marvel to treat Spidey well granted I've only found 3 out of 7 Marvel scripts good. As for director, someone who can do action and make being a superhero fun as well as having heart and character moments. Phil Lord and Chris Miller would be great but I feel that's an obvious choice. Another set of obvious choices would be Brad Bird or Jon Favreau. I'd like to see what Joss Whedon would do. I know he's been wanting to work with Spider-Man for some time now.

@angelalfonso: Eh, I think if the Spider-Man Summit next month is real and actually happens the leaks are good for possible good news, and the potential bad. It builds a lot of hype for good news and is a source of hope for bad news. Though it would be nice to know if something is official or not, instead of just going by old emails.

I guess making him a teenager would make sense for all intent and purposes. I mean would easily explain why he wasn't present in the invasion of Age of Ultron, as you could say he got his powers after said events. We don't know the time gap between AOU and CW, but I would assume it would be 1 or two years giving a good enough time span for Peter to have powers, 1 year if they go the route of him still in high school, powers at 15.he'd be about 16. Only the first movie would be like that, so it be much like Raimi's where Peter will most likely be in college by the second movie. Dont really know who they'd cast not that I'm worried, just don't know of any actors that's make a good Parker. I know it probably a lesser known actor, much like most of their main heroes were before,with supporting role going to the bigger named ones.
