Huh, I'm really excited for this movie, and I loved Rise, but for some reason I feel Planet of the Apes doesn't really work nowadays. It feels and looks kinda goofy watching CGI Apes firing guns and riding horses. Maybe if it was make up I'd feel better, but then you' loose Andy Serkis' great performances. I'll see it next weekend, but I'm very on the fence. All the positive reviews is great though!

As someone who enjoyed Rise but thought Caesar riding a horse in it looked and felt silly, you'll be happy to know that same thought never crossed my mind during Dawn.

That's good to hear. Probably feel a lot better watching it in the theater than on a computer screen.

Cool. I like Routh, he along with Kevin Spacey are the only good things that came out of Superman Returns. Too bad the movie was terrible he was the perfect Clark Kent to me. But while it's awesome he's returning to the DC world, too bad it's on TV and not a movie.

I think Miguel O' Hara (Spider-Man 2099) lifted it.

Yeah I only buy trades. It's much easier to keep track of, and far cheaper. It's such a hassle to try to get a book every month, especially when your books come out a separate times during the month. I only buy an individual issue if I want the variant.

Been awhile since I've seen the first one, the only scene I remember is

But I watched the Spy Who Shagged Me recently, so I'll vote that.

I'd go with Nightwing or Logan. Dick always has a fun time being who he is and Logan is just too badass.

@ascended: Thanks. I liked X-Men, but I have a lot a problems with it, that really ruined the movie for me.

Cool,man.

How many "movies of the year" do you have,anyway?......Cap was the best in your opinion, then ASM2 was astounding and not this. :P

I'm joking, before we get deeply into it,your opinion is fine.

Every opinion is fine.

If I had to order the movies I've seen this year I'd be

  1. Edge of Tomorrow
  2. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
  3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  4. Transformers: Age of Extinction
  5. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
  6. The Lego Movie
  7. X-Men: Days of Futures Past
  8. Non-Stop
  9. Ride Along
  10. Godzilla

I doubt anything will top the first 3.
