Cool we have an announcement on who's playing him. That said to me it's not that huge of a deal. Neither Marvel, or Sony to a point, have ever really cast someone that was absolutely wrong and terrible for the role. Most problems with these movies have really come from both studio interference, bad writing, and the fact that these movies are very formulaic. That's my biggest worry. Spider-Man is very a very different character than the characters in the MCU. He doesn't save the world and billions of people on a daily basis. His stories are very small and personal akin to Daredevil but in a very fantastical sense. It's what makes the first 2 Spider-Man movies so great. They focus on Peter's relationships with other characters, and while in Spider-Man 2's climax he had to save the city, Spider-Man's climax is just Spider-Man saving people on a bridge and a brutal fight with Green Goblin.

So I hope that they do a good job. Have no idea about Jon Watts, and haven't heard anything about writers.

Really enjoyed last nights episode, was a funny one. I absolutely love every scene with Barry and his father together or when Barry is talking about his dad. Those are always my favorite scenes, they're just so well done.

Loved this episode. Cisco's scene was absolutely perfect. Before I was teetering on edge of liking Cisco, because some episodes he's been really annoying, but that moment got me right in the feels.

The ending was awesome too. Love seeing Barry push himself to become faster, the whole time travel thing had me go "whoa, what just happened".

With the quality of the show, especially the CG, gets me really excited for what the movie will be able to do.

Ok, after having a major nerdgasim, I watched the trailer again and I have to ask: Am I the only one taken back by the implications of a Bruce X Natasha? I mean what the hell happened to Betty?

That's how I'm feeling too. It's a little off putting Bruce and Natasha. Just seems so odd.

It's okay, better than the first one. Though like the first one, it shows the final war area, which I'm guessing is this scene.

Though it's kinda obvious anyway just looking at it, and if you watched that BTS video it also confirmed it.

I really don't understand the want for Miles as Spider-Man. I mean you really can't have the character, or any other Spider-Man outside of Miguel without Peter being established. A good chunk of these characters origins are directly tied to Parker.

Captain America on a dinosaur fighting a Planet of Hulks. Whoever came up with that idea needs a pay raise.

Crazy stuff we got going on. I'm happy though.

Thing I'm most excited for though is the Russo brothers Producing this movie. I'd be even happier if they could direct but hey them working on it at all is enough.
