@babs I think Arron may have dropped a hint in this issue about the return of a certain character a hooded figure is shown with kid omega and the bamf mind image of Azazel. Ref Jason Arrons Wolverine#8 and #7 Nightcrawler
I thought seeing the futures of some of these characters was great. When you wright a story for Tens years and have been following it for that long you need some finality. When the next person takes up the mantle of writing green lantern I will except their story for what it is and not worry about it. Great Issue
Your're CRAY CRAY Matt, sorry to go there but I don't consider this a typical death as a plot device. I think Miles's reaction was totally appropriate given what happen and you dont see it coming till the last minute. I dont think anyone can tell me they that knew it was going to happen from page one.
@Naamah_Obyzouth: Norse Gods like Thor where still able to die in their Mythos before comics. I would say that what you are saying should apply to Greek Gods and other Deities. But I do see your point Gods should be a tier above normal super humans and incredibly hard to beat at that.
A cheap and pointless death in my opinion. Don't know why its acceptable to kill a child in a Batman book. Regardless of whether you like Damien or not it seems to easy to just kill him off.
@Babs: True, I have say I it has been very interesting the way the lesser know characters have introduced. Hickman seems like hes building to something great.
