@night_thrasher: also I would LOVE to point out that the Original Sin thing that Marvel is wheeling out seems suspiciously like the Trinity War: DC's featured the Trinity of SIN, they were trying to how to open Pandora's Box (which was Pandora's ORIGINAL SIN) and why Superman would commit a MURDER, et cetera, et cetera. The similarities are there, you're just in denial

Right...I'm in denial about something that I never even mentioned! Except one's about opening a box to another dimension and the other's about God knows what because I'm not interested in Original Sin in the least bit!

@soopacoop16: I don't think I've ever said that Marvel doesn't copy DC. But...in this particular case it's a lot of similarities to Winter Soldier that can't be overlooked. But, since you want to go there. How many of your precious DC characters are themselves considered copies? Did Batman copy Zorro? Is Superman just a retelling of the Hercules myth? Is Martian Manhunter a copy of the original Vision? I never said Marvel doesn't copy other material, I freely admitted that most companies have characters inspired by others, you're the one who got really overly defensive about it.

S/N Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has gotten a little better than Arrow recently IMO.

Hip hop isn't dead and it's in one of the best places it's been in years. Southern hip hop definitely didn't kill it and it's probably why it's so good right now. A lot of new promising artists along with veteran artists are thriving right now and it's honestly in a great place!

@jaken7: It's always been there and kind of looms over the story, but I still feel the main plot is the battle for the throne. Hence the title "Game of Thrones"!

It's a political drama more than a fantasy epic. The whole premise of the series is that the king died and people are vying for the vacated throne. Everyone has at least semi-legitimate claims to the throne. So, you could take the fantasy elements of it out and it would still hold up the same IMO.

Well it's based heavily on the War of the Roses, from what I've read, so that would probably be why. But like JakeN7 said there is still "the real threat from beyond The Wall."

@night_thrasher: Hah! Your comment proves that even the audience is starting to forget the real threat from beyond The Wall.

The "threat from beyond The Wall" is a subplot in the series. The main plot is the battle for the throne. I haven't watched any of Season 4 yet, because I no longer have HBO, but I'm sure it will be addressed soon. But the main draw so far has been the battle between the factions.

Everybody is a fanboy of something. Being an irrational douche about something you're passionate about is an entirely different matter!

It's amazing!!! IMO.

I would say watch the first 4 episodes. If your not hooked by the 4th episode of season 1 then you probably won't be into it. But for me, it's like crack in video form. And yes, it is a hell of a binge watch!!!!

Edit: It's not on Netflix streaming as far as I know so you either have to have HBO or Netflix DVD service to get seasons 1-3
