Should be cool. 616 Nightcrawler has always been an interesting character. AoA Nightcrawler is just as interesting, if not more. He's a more hardened version of 616. What I'd like to see is the Original X-Men in All New X-Men fight AoA Nightcrawler. That would be an interesting fight.
Jean was able to knock out Wolverine because Xavier's not around holding her back. I think Xavier was mentally blocking her full potential all those years back. No Xavier means no limit to Young Jean's power.
I'm excited for this one. It hopefully deals with something dear to my heart: Sentinels. I wasn't too big a fan of the last few X-related films, but I think they'll make this one big. Maybe mix age of apocolypse? I don't know. It's crazy. I'm excited to see what they give us.
@alex6166: yeah, i can see what you mean for Spider-man. I still read Spidey and he's my super hero but I will say this: He has little to fight for anymore. It always went with the theme "with great power comes great responsibility" but he don't have those same responsibility. Sure, he's saving lives, but is he doing it for them or himself? He does want glory from t he people and these days that's all he seems to worry about, with him joining teams and such for his image. Jameson was right in a way, he's become a glory hound. The same glory hound that wrestled Crusher Hogan for the spotlight. It used to be for the people.
Good point. What about Wolverine, though? I hated the fact that they gave him all his memories back for House of M. To me, it destroyed the mystery that is Wolverine. Giving him an origin kinda tamed the character in a way. Made him a wuss. There's no going back for that....unless you shoot him in the head with an (sigh) adamantium bullet.
I've been wanting a Spawn movie for a while now. I always thought that Sam Raimi should direct. Make it super creepy and have wicked camera angles. Bloody. It would be awesome.
All New X-Men is the only one listed that has me interested and I'm not really all that interested in that. I am, but I'm so skeptical about how Bendis is going to treat the X-Men. It's not going to be an easy next couple of years for the mutants with Bendis at the helm. He likes to torture any character he touches. He's sick. Not a bad writer, it's just that he really likes to change things....we will see where this goes.
Finally, we get to see the real Tony Stark and not the millionaire in a suit of armor. It looks like he's going to be stripped down, everything that makes him powerful will be taken from him, hopefully making Tony more humanized and therefore relate-able to more fans.
You see, as most do, I compare IronMan/Tony Stark to Batman/Bruce Wayne. Both are basically the same character, whereas Bruce is more dark and brooding and Tony's just a rich kid who makes himself toys. He doesn't care about the little things in life. Everything has to be big. So give the man something to care about...Let the guy lose everything so it brings him back down to Earth and let him build it back with a different mindframe.
I think Batman's more relate-able to the fans than Tony will ever be.
