Those pages made me even more excited. The art is superb. By the way, did they mention when does this take place? I mean, he looks young enough to be Superboy, so I assume its from his early years as Superman.
That's a tough decision, but I think I'm down with Brainiac 5, Colossal Boy, Mon-El and Ultra Boy. I'd love for Mon-El to be the leader, cause that would give him plenty of action throughout the pages again, but then again I think my mouse pointer is already voting for Brainiac 5.

Well, if you really want to understand what's happening right now you'll have to read the Blackest Night arc and tie-ins, which means you'll first need to know what happened with Agent Orange, Red Lanterns, Sinestro Corps War, Star Sapphire and all that which gets you way back almost in the beginning of the Volumes. So better pick up the trades of GL and GLC. It's worth it. Just check the pages for more info on them.

This judging from the teaser DC released some time ago, I don't think Guy is going to die. He is the one building a construct including a coffin alongside with Ganthet and Atrocitus. It's more likely that to happen to Hal, but might not even do in the end. For all we know, It might be for Jade with all that stuff that's happened in JSA/JLA lately and her bond with Obsidian. Of course Alan Scott foresaw the results of that happening again with the aid of Doctor Fate, but who knows whats gonna happen if Black/White Lantern stuff gets in the middle.
On another note, since I already posted the teaser, it's pretty much safe to say now that Ronnie and Jason are burying Deathstorm, the shield with the White Lantern nest belongs to The Weaponer who stole it when Deadman was sent to confront the Anti-Monitor, and the trident is Magog's (I guess, with all this that's being prepared with Maxwell Lord now)
From head to waist the art looks great. Now the rest down to his feet, kinda ruins it, even thought it was drawn that way intentionally. I like it, but it's not that different, except the cloth part dropping way down under his belt, and his suit looking kind of armory. I get a Turner vibe from it, especially the head part. Is that picture new? Please, bring that SOB back
