I bought a few books today in perfect to near perfect condition today at a local used bookstore for $1 a piece. After some research, their graded value is $100-400. Of course their "raw value" is like $8. So I have a few questions. First, why is there such a vast difference in the value of a graded comic and one that isn't? What value should a comic hold before it's worth the investment of grading? To get a book graded, is it something that is rare for someone to do? Will I probably have to do it by mail or is there a good chance someone reasonable close to me could do it? Any answers to these questions would be great and thanks in advance.
I think you find the answer to this question on these boards every day. We are consistently analyzing these books in one form or another. So yes, they should be open for analysis. These boards wouldn't thrive like they do if this wasn't the case.
I think it's been mediocre honestly. I'm keeping it on my pull list at least through the next arc to see if it improves. It has been i impressive enough to land on the chopping block though.
Fantastic stuff. I read this in a bit of a hurry but plan on returning and giving it a more thorough look-over. This just increases my respect for Martian Manhunter and explains why he is most likely my favorite character.
I assume you're talking about the new JL coming out. It hasn't launched yet. I am looking forward to it myself. A lot of the characters interest me, specifically Simon Baz and Martian Manhunter.
