No; Unfortunately, i dont think he was meant for the superhero multiverse...He likes his movies to pay homage to old Spagetthi Westerns, rat pack cinema, eastern dramas...older cinematic genres; and i am not saying that he would not be able to adadpt a good Wolverine or Daredevil movie into one of these genres, but i dont think he would ever try to. He was asked if he would ever undertake a superhero movie, during his "Django Unchained" panel, at SDCC 2012, and expressed complete disinterest in the genre as a whole, basically saying that it does give him enough creative room to make it his own.
IMO, i want to see Quentin Tarantino's original ideas, not long established characters with Fanboys to dog it at every turn.
@RogueShadow: To be honest, i would use the riot shield to give myself the most defence against his relentless attacks in hopes that he would tire a little. Then, if/when he makes a wrong swing, i would try to bash him with it up close and have him lose his footing, and hopefully knock the machete out of his fatigued grip; and take the fight to the ground, and try to expose what little grappling he may know (i dont know a lot, but i did train in Japanese submission wrestling for 5 years, as well as wrestle in folk-style, Greko-Roman and free-style for the majority of my youth until i was 18). That all being said, i do not know if i could get him to that point; or, even if i did, that he wouldnt still find some way to bezerk his way out of it, and then lop my head off.
@RogueShadow: Am I Bloodlusted? lol...Doesnt matter, i dont think i can go as berzerker as Rick did in the last few episodes. I wouldnt give it up, and it may take a while, but he would put the machete through my head, or lop it off.
Bane easily. Comedian's only H2H feat is getting beaten to death by Ozy while Nat King Cole crooned in the background.
I have to agree, Comedian's only H2H feats are getting stomped by both Hooded Justice and Ozymadias. He has decent feats in the Before Watchmen arcs (for a low street-leveler), but if we were going comic versions, it would be even worse for Eddie Blake.
Bane FTW!!!!! (though, i like Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian more than i like Tom Hardy as Bane...albeit not by much)
@Evolute99: I say that you just stick with where you are and read your way to the newer isues. There is, actually, a lot that you will miss/spoil if you read ahead. But, that is just IMO. To be honest, the story will be awesome, no matter when you jump in. It is, though, a very linear story and to jump ahead might be confusing and hard to orient yourself, initially.
