But wasn't he chosen by Predator? In which case is different than a ring choosing him. Hawkgirl on the other hand, would be a different story.

@King Saturn:  Well that's because it was Smallville.

DC should really give Hawkman those kind of wings. Metal, but looks like feathers and are bullet proof, that would be awesome. When I saw Legion and Gabriel came out I instantly thought thats Hawkman!

When Johns was writing JSA and brought back Hawkman, he made it seem like They were not the same person but were kindred spirits. They are two different people from different worlds but are very similar. I think back during zero hour Carter and Katar were merged into one being so at one time they were the same person, but during his resurrection Katar is shown giving his essence to Carter to help Carter come back. So some of Katar was with Carter for awhile. Now that the white entity has brought Carter back, it's safe to assume it's just Carter. I hope that clears it up for you.

@Baddamdog: Before Brightest Day, Hawkworld was a comic that took place on Thanagar. Hawkworld  use to be a reference to Thanagar, but now it appears to be a whole new world where Man-hawks and Lion Mains are from. It could be this is where Thanagarians are originally from, since they are a warrior nation and have conquered and enslaved other species.

@umbrafeline:  No Thuderbolts are Marvel's version of the Suicide Squad. The squad  goes back to 1987 where the Thunderbolts go back to 1997. Secret Six has former members of the squad but they are more of an A Team than the Thunderbolts.

IMO: Suicide Squad was/is way better than the Thunderbolts.

I really didn't want Bruce to come back. True Dick isn't the same kind of Batman as Bruce was but it seemed to give the Bat family more depth. Dick grew into the new Batman. Tim established his own grown identity and Damian was brought into his father's legacy. It seemed really refreshing to see these characters grow into what their fate is suppose to be.

This issue was really good, and it didn't seem to have that drag that a lot of first issues have. It's good to see Guy staring in a monthly title and I'm really happy to see another Green Lantern title out there.

I actually got to screen Scott Pilrim early too, and I must say this fil is definitly worth the price of admission. I have never seen a more true adapatation in my life. The scenes look as if it was ripped from the pages. It was like watching a live action magna or anime, with that being said if that is not in your taste you will probably not enjoy it, but if you are ready to laugh your ass off than you will enjoy this movie.  I even took my friend who is not into magna/anime and is not a gammer and even she loved this film.

I kinda disagree with what the author said about the message being "were cool and hip" I didn't get that message at all. What I did get was "Were nerds and we don't care".

Wow I can't believe G-Man gave it a 4.5. This comic was mediocre at best. Millar is just looking to do something shocking instead of interesting.
