Nerd Of A Hero

A Superman sequel having Lex Luthor as the main villain while working with the U.S. government trying to create a weapon based on alien technology left by Zod so they can take down Superman out of fear, but the weapon turns on them which becomes Brainiac so Superman has to save the day once again from alien threats to mankind. That would've been a great story line for the sequel. I can see if they're having Batman as a side character to help Superman in the events of the movie like with Black Widow did in Iron Man 2, but if they trying to have Batman fight Superman in a 'The Dark Knight Returns" fashion they better come up with a way for him to do so since theirs no Kryptonite involved.

Your right, they should make it more like the Justice League TV series and JLU (which is way the show is great in the first place) to take care of certain threats or certain heroes can do things for a mission. We don't need the entire team to fight off Cheetah or handle GL Simon Baz, but hey, that's how they want it.

@ultrastarkiller: Remember when this trailer came out a couple of years back. Got really excited even though it's a fan made trailer.

This is ridiculous. I love Batman just as much as any batman-fanboy but the author to that article is completely biased on Superman that he failed to realize Superman can beat Batman just as easily if he wanted to like in the resent Superman/Batman comic. In fact, most of the fights between them are either when Superman just want to talk so he holds back not to harm Batman, or when Superman is being controlled against his will that Batman needs all his armaments to take him on but hangs on just long enough until some plot convenience kicks in by something or someone else intervenes just before Batman comes out unscathed.
