@neongamewave: Dunno Lahari, other than that it's a Halo character. Kain would be an odd choice for Vincent.
At his worst, Vincent is Captain America level with some awesome marksmanship and a weapon that hits like a tank shell.
In the middle, he can enhance himself to be somewhere between Spiderman and MCU Iron Man levels.
In chaos form, he has a lot of exotic abilities, intangibility, and can move seemingly at lightspeed.
So if Kain is around either of those 3 levels, then yes.
Thanks for reading,

Laharl is from the Disgaea series he`s pretty much a herald level character he has feats like effortlessly destroying the Earth, summoning planetary meteorites, traveling across the solar system in seconds, wielding life ending magic and he`s very experienced when it comes to combat.
I was referring to Raziel but I think the reason why you mentioned Kain was because of what happened at the end of Defiance either way the fight could be something interesting but I understand where you are coming from.
Kain has beaten mid-tier to high-tier level characters like the Hylden Lord ever since his Blood Omen days and his versatility matches Vincent`s.
I`m aware as Vincent is my favorite Final Fantasy character (although Noctis is probably going to change that soon) but I think Kain could take Spiderman and MCU Iron Man.
Chaos Form will be a big challenge for Kain but with the Soul Reaver, Kain can manipulate time, travel through dimensions, manipulate all kinds of elements and Kain`s unique powerset that he operates on his own power allows for him to become intangible, transform into a swarm of bats, and he can even survive having his heart removed from his chest also Raziel is a living paradox that lives within the Reaver blade.
He definitely is although debating with Legacy of Kain characters would be VERY hard to do considering the way in which their feats work these characters are more so character studies rather than anything else their abilities and what they actually perform onscreen are secondary in nature.

@neongamewave: I'm just saying, Raiden can still cut Kratos like butter regardless of how durable he his. That means the fight can end in less than a microsecond, making the fight a huge mismatch.
That`s your opinion but I know it to be nonfactual. Kratos is very durable but he also has defenses that are very effective also you still did not address Kratos` god powers, and what would happen if Kratos were to stop time? I don`t think that would be possible if Raiden is frozen and can`t move a muscle..
I'm just trying to save you from an argument that you'll obviously lose. I'm trying to help you, man. Because honestly, who gives a crap how durable Kratos is when Raiden can literally CUT ADAMANTIUM. It only becomes an argument if Kratos starts out in God-mode, since Kratos needs to actually activate his time stopping ability in the equivalent of a year's time (to Raiden) in order to do anything.
I`m just being honest I know both characters very well and I know for a fact that Raiden would lose indefinitely. You don`t need to considering I`m educated on both characters. It matters if we are having a discussion about it of course and like I said that application won`t apply to a character like Kratos. I see your point but a whole multitude of factors apply such as starting distance, location and etc., also I don`t think Raiden would go straight for a blitz unless if the dialogue between him and Kratos were to reach a certain point. Kratos` time activation is pretty much automatic and things are slowed to his perception contrary to popular belief, Kratos is not the slowest character within fiction he actually can be quite canonically fast.
