@_Creed_: Nate's head cocked to the side, and he remained crouched for several moments. The sound was probably fabricated. Or a ruse. Nonetheless, he kept a weapon in hand until his watched beeped three times. "Assuming you're still conscious, or capable, I'd just like to say that while it has been fun.. stay out of my business in the future." Holding his watch up to his other hand, he depressed a button on the underside. Both him and his victim began to gradually flicker out of existence. "If you aren't, well, I'm sure a capable man such as yourself can live through a few added holes in his body."
@_Creed_: He threw his body backwards, and angled it so that the brunt of the shockwave would fling him to safety. Holding onto his captive, he slid into a crouching position. "Well. I have time for this game.." Putting the knives away, he reached into his coat and pulled out small metallic sphere. Depressing an imprint on the top, it scanned his thumbprint, then beeped once. Listening in, he attempted to find anything indicative of his attacker's whereabouts. He picked up the faintest noise, and acted on it. Before it was flung, a series of spikes slid out around the entire sphere. When the sphere was flung out into the hallway, and made contact with the ground, the spikes exploded outwards. Following that, the sphere itself detonated. A flash of blinding light filled the hall, succeeded by a deafening boom.
@_Creed_: "Tt." He pulled himself to his feet, throwing the unconscious man over his shoulder. "Hero of some sort, I'm assuming?" He pulled out another pair of knives and made his way out into the hall. At this point, it was just a matter of delaying him.
@_Creed_: His ears barely registered the noise in time. A short, deep growl came from the back of his throat, and he threw himself to the side with inhuman speed. "Or not." Reaching down into his pockets, he whipped out a set of four poison-laced knives. Unfortunately nothing major, just a sedative. He hadn't been authorized to carry the really fun stuff. Whirling his body in one semi-circle, he let the first two fly, then continued the twirling motion to let the rest go. Hopefully, at leats one would hit. It would be a much cleaner getaway if this unknown enemy wasn't in the way.
@_Creed_: Nate had been patiently waiting for his orange-haired victim to walk through the door. He was precariously perched up in his closet. When the college student went to put away his jacket, the assailant struck. Leaping out of his hiding spot, he tackled the other man and quickly dug a syringe into his neck. The boy had strength in him, and damn near shook his iron grip. But it wasn't long before the drugs took effect, and the fight began to drain out of him. Nate pressed a button on his wristwatch, then held his wrist to his mouth. "010 reporting. Target subdued, requesting immediate evacuation."
