@The Myth. it's very possible. Even when you look at the monitors behind Osborne when he is giving the team the low down on Nate you see at least one or two moments you didn't see in the comics, like Nate fighting Sentinels I don't ever remember seeing. It's all too likely there is parts of history that just weren't written that they can just fill in the blanks of as they go.

That's a good point and it's seriously annoying that the writers are waiting so long to sort it all out. I think it's their goal in life to piss off loyal and die hard fans.

It was Nate using Sentry's weakness of his past against him more than likely. He's smarter and a better strategist than he's given credit. for. However Nate tells Norman after this clip that he just told him the truth so it is likely that like most characters there are gaps in their history where time and events are skipped ahead.

Ya the plan really did backfire on him which is part of why I didn't like Dark X-Men. Although part of the reason I think it backfired was because he expected more out of the Dark X-Men, especially once they saw that the man they were working for was an evil nutjob with more than just a few screws loose.

It may take some time to find some good battle related pics but I can definitely upload what I've got so far in my collection

I think they better bring him back in soon. I mean I've been reading this X-Men vs Vampires crap for no other reason than the promos led us to believe he would be involved at some point. Frankly I stopped enjoying the Curse of the Mutants storyline after the 2nd issue, it definitely met my expectations and is clearly just a way to cash in on the vampire obsession in pop culture today.

I would like to see some interaction between Nate and Threnody after all these years, maybe even see their child that was seemingly retconned out of existance. Still Nate and Hope together on any level is definitely needed.

I don't think Nate was responsible but he didn't just "run into" Green Goblin. The Goblin persona was locked in Osborne's subconcious and during the battle for his body Nate seemingly set him free in order to split Osborne's attention and willpower to keep him locked away and to show everyone the monster that truly lurked inside. It just happened that Goblin and Osborne had the same interests in mind and worked together, which Nate didn't see coming in his little plan. However the Goblin persona was breaking through long before Nate's interferance.

Nate had more to do with Onslaught being released than the Green Goblin and even then it was already there to begin with just tearing through to the surface.

@Alfiebo he was technically never killed in the first place. He dispersed his energies/lifeforce into every living thing on the planet to stop an alien Harvester from feeding off the life force of humanity. Nate Grey was tainted because of his alternate reality origins thus by using his energy and the Harvester's energy he was able to save all life on Earth from certain death. The reason he couldn't just kill the Harvester was because he was tapped into everything on the planet and if Nate hurt him, he hurt everyone.

Frankly it was a seriously lame plot device to put Nate into a seemingly impossible situation so they could kill him off because they found it too hard to write for a character with such incredible power and vast potential.

Nate at a young age and not fully realized was rated at a level equal to that of Dark Phoenix. The amount of growth he has shown in his powers I think over time he could reach a level to that of White Phoenix. Fact is he is still young and growing in experience and ability. He's done things with his telekinesis and telepathy that few other could hardly dream of being capable of. Currently he can bend the walls of reality and step outside reality. And more recently see over 300 possible futures at once. He can become energy at will to simply avoid an attack and take over another body and use their powers on top of his own. He's shown the ability to adapt new defences in the heat of battle against entire well trained and powerful opponents and teams. He's shown potential like few others. Leave him alive to grow in his powers there is no telling what he could be capable of. And this is all without the aid of any outside cosmic forces, power absorbtion, multiple personalities, etc...

Also when it comes down to it, there really is more to Nate than just raw power. He's got serious skill with that power and a mind that seems to be able to come up with inventive and useful ways of utilizing that power. Fact is when it comes to his intelligence, strength of will and inventiveness Nate Grey is seriously underrated when you really look at some of the things he's done. Instead of facing Sentry he simply played the thespian that he is and manipulated him into taking off. He's also shown the potential for real leadership ability, after all he carries the Summers gene as well Grey. Again though he is still young and the things he's done have all been him. He really didn't receive any training in his powers, learning as he's gone through life in the heat of countless battles over a very short amount of time. The most training he really received was unarmed combat training from Forge and a few nudges and ideas from Sinister. The rest is from battling various foes Sinister, Apocalypse, Holocaust, Dark Beast, Xavier (who he ripped from the astral plane on a whim), Excalibur, The Marauders, Exodus (who he overloaded with power and threw into a mountain crevice which he then shut closed), Cable, Fantastic Four (who he outsmarted), The Avengers, Stryfe, Abomination, Hulk, Thanos, Evil Queen Jean, Qabiri and the list goes on and on. Those are just several I can currently still remember.
