Fantomex is my hero. My other heroes are Silver Surfer, Ben Franklin (the founding father), and Spiderman. While they're my life heroes, my favorite superheroes related to comics, while similar, are a bit different. They are the following: Fantomex, Silver Surfer, Spiderman, Deadpool, Thor, Sentry, Nova, and Wolverine. I like Uncanny X-Force and the Annihilation stories, as you can probably tell. My personality is very diverse, and therefore I like a diverse group of characters, in terms of morals, skills, skill levels, story types, importance of their stories (like from saving the entire galaxy or just beating up a few thugs), etc.
Of all these awesome characters, why is my favorite Fantomex? While I'm generally a very ethical and honorable person, I appreciate people who are independent and choose their own moral codes, not a moral code that they follow because a society tells them to. Ror example, heroes that don't want to kill, even if killing is the necessary thing to do. In Uncanny X-Force #4, when the X-Force was trying to kill the child version of Apocalypse, a bunch of them were hesitating to kill him, and while they started to argue about what's right and wrong, Fantomex just put a bullet between the little bastard's face, and shut them all up. He is an opportunist, and doesn't get caught up in the bull crap. I see many people close to me in my life fail because they get caught up in stupid things.
