Superman, atm, Grounded has gone on long enough. The same with Green Lantern proper and the ragtag Corps they've thrown together.

I only read the best. A few years back, I bought all of the "Countdown to Crisis" TPB for Infinite Crisis. Huge financial mistake. Except the Secret Six one. Everything else was trash, and thus why I never buy mainstream comics anymore

Yes I agree they are all written extremely out of character and written like a fan boys wet dream. But I still read it for the eye candy "

I only read one issue.  It wasn't that bad, but it certainly was far from good "

Under-performing is a bit different from "stinks." Yeah, I'll do that from time to time. To see what happens, see if I like it. Typically when that happens, I get through the story, look back over why I thought it was good and how it coulda been better then move on. Was kinda like that when OMIT was out, then I got to the second issue and discovered that I thought it was really cool. Got a little bit of the same thing goin' on with Avengers right now. Didn't care for them going to see the Next Avengers for a while, and then when it happened, I figured, "yeah, okay, I can go with that." "

I don't think they stink but they aren't great so far.....the new X-Men series, Secret Avengers, and I read Green Lantern because a friend has me pick it up for him when I hit the comic shop.

New Mutants.  It had such potential to begin with, but stories are never concluded, characters act out of character and the art is constantly mediocre.  In short, if it wasn't for the fact that this is the New Mutants, then I'd have dropped the title & used the back issue to line litter trays up & down the country. "

I read 'Venom: Dark Origin' despite how awfully out of character and poorly crafted (due to the artist/writer not doing their #%$&ing homework) it was.

I hate all of Bendis's current Avengers titles, but because I don't want to miss anything important, I still keep reading them

New Avengers, since SIEGE, has been a real stinker. I'm probably going to drop it unless something decent happens after next issue. "
