Dr Fate or Zatanna (we are lacking in magic characters), Black Manta (Aquaman doesn't have arch nemesis character out (unlike Batman, Superman, Womderwoman), Poison Ivy as anohter female DLC to even up the male dominated roster a bit - I know people complain she is another bat-related character, but she is in her own comic anyway (Birds of Prey!), personally but not very likely I would like to see Jason Blood/Etrigan (would be a cool and interesting move set that is different from others) and lets NOT have any Red Hood (because how many gun related character sets do you want people?!)

@ssejllenrad: Thanks. Sometimes it's just the smallest details that someone can appreciate.

In the scene when he get's threatened by the group of kids outside his Father's work, we see him reading the works of Plato. This scene cronologically speaking is not far after he finds out who he is. This shows that he is already questioning his existence and meaning by resulting to philosophial texts

Plato's main theory is the Cave, whereby a man escapes and see's an existence beyond the cave whereby everyone else lives and sees only shadows. Plato theorised that one has a moral obligation to show the people in the cave the outside world, however in the story he is killed by the cave people because of them not wanting to accept it.

How does this relate to Man of Steel? Clark is having an inner moral fight with himself as to whether show the people the truth about his existence and are we alone in the universe, and risk compromising the safety of himself and his family, or sticking with his Father's teachings and keeping it a secret.

I love the off the wall comics out of the superhero genre that are produced through the new 52 like Demon Knights or Dial H. Don't get me wrong, I like Batman as much as the next guy, but it keeps things refreshing. Too much superhero stuff can wear down the material a bit.

IMO Aquaman should be played by Nikolaj Coster Waldau - a talented actor that has a other worldly appeal. The enemy could be Black Manta played by a heavyweight black actor like Idris Elba.

If Batman had powers before he became a superhero he wouldn't be half as good... If he got them when he was in the prime of his career however he would be UNSTOPABLE

I have 'found' digital copies of all of the uncanny x-men (vol 1) from #1-541. I also have a number of annuals and giant size comics. My question is whilst I am reading these, when do I read each annual (i.e. read annual 1 after comic #24 or something)
