Personally I buy DC and Image. I mean Moon Knight is good but, I feel Marvel doesn't have any real edge or strong street level written characters. The Punisher was good but, then it got canceled. I'm glad Marvel is bringing in new fans to the genre though. Just not my style. We will sales shift next year after DC's movie releases. I believe the movie releases will definitely chip away at Marvel's fan base as they will see villains and heroes in a new way with more of a dramatic element and less of the family friendly humor.
Just put 2+2 together but, Will Smith is a pretty tall guy and he looks small next to Killer Croc....I wonder if they'll make him taller in the movie. Kind of like they did with Bane in the DKR.
The tattoos in the film make sense to me. Tattooing has long been part of counter cultures such as the military and criminals. Since these are both criminals and most of them have military like training it makes sense for them to be heavily tattooed. David Ayer definitely knows about crime drama and gritiness which is why I was so happy to see him directing this film. If you haven't watch Training Day or End of Watch do yourself a favor and check them out. (Anyone notice Captain Boomerang's Captain's Jacket...he would)
