It had only been a few hours since Linda's encounter with an old member of the We Are Legend team. He had once lead it but, with hardships to surmontable to overcome, gave it to the team's new leaders. Leaders because no one could decide who would lead. So instead they had three people, Feral Nova, Uchiha Nevann, and Obi Wan Kenob!. Even with the friendliness surronding the group base she had been tested awhile. Bio Guyver had attempted to hit her with a ray, which she dodged and quickly responded with an attack of her own. This had ended the squabble and quickly knocked Bio off of his feet, tearing some of his armor.
Shortly after he had asked her if she wanted to finish. Linda decided to say yes. Now she stood ontop of the WAL Helicopter pad. Her opponent infront of her. Menacing now more then ever. Quickly she checked herself to make sure everything was proper. Electrons were in the air. This gave Linda a good start. In her head she planned, all she had to do was converge that energy into electricity, which would give her small stints of superspeed and allow her to do much more then posssible.
With all this running through her mind, Linda could not notice her opponent, Bio Guyver, transforming, his body armor covering him. When she finally noticed him, he was already speaking and ready to get into the battle. His arms were wrapped in a cross and he was confidently looking at her."I want you to repeat the move you made earlier, Mutate." Without a responce Guyver already poised himself for battle, positioning himself to best block the blow about to be dealt. For Mutate though, she never repeated a move, it might be in the same style but never in the exact same way.
Linda could see his devilsh grin, not infront of her but in her mind. What she could see was Bio's dead eyes flaring with a distinctive redish color. Now people were watching, ongoing construction to make the base bigger gave lot's of maintenance workers the insight on the area's festivities. Today though...It would be a regular fight. It would be a Superhuman brawl, one winer, one loser, hopefully no one actually died on the premise. After all the WAL had to keep up to it's perfect stature, not everyday a hero get's their hands wrestled with their own friends... Now Mutate had a reason to fight. To get better, one simple reason, one adequette anwser.
Looking at her opponent, Bio Guyver, Mutate made her first move. Rotating her body into a running motion she started to gather the energy in the air. Forming that into pure electricity she bolted, not at a regular pace, but with one of superspeed. A yellowish hue was left behind wherever she went, but it slowly dissappeared. So running and quickly stopping, giving herself some extra time to build electricity, and than continueing. Within a few quick second bursts she was before him, slightly taller he was a casting shadow. Even with that Linda didn't stop. She formed her own plot. Dropping down and pushing her index and ring finger towards Guyver's chin. Then she looked at him in the eyes and said." Boom!"Using that to destract him Mutate instead bursted left into the air, giving herself only a few mere seconds to let off her blast. So, several feet away now and flinging in the air she commanded her attack.
Mutate could feel the thrust of electricity from her brain, then to her chest, and last to her two pointed fingers. Each one, at the tip, loaded with vast amounts of oncoming electricity. Letting out one concentrated blast, approximatly what seemed several inches wide, Linda's fingers looked as if engulfed by the yellow power while aimed towards Guyver's head. Holding herself in the air for a few more seconds Linda silently dropped off onto the helipad and she gave a quick smile.
" Like I said....I'm good!" With that she pulled her hands infront of her in the Chinese tiger technique, moving from side to side and always keeping on the move. Now she needed to witness her opponents true power. After all he didn't express it much, maybe now she would feel the intensity...Or then again... Not. With that she waited for her opponents move, hoping it would give her insight on his weaknesses.
