Sorry for Leaving

I've been gone from this site since August...Wow. It was that new format that really messed me up and all of my buddies said they were quitting. I'm not making any promises of return. I'm just going to start posting some stuff. I'm too excited for Watchmen to come out on film. I've written it all on the Joker, Harley, Jokester and even Mr. Face, now I'm moving to Nite Owl. I hope I can contribute to what this site already has to offer. So this isn't me saying, "I'm officially back" it's just me saying, "I'm back for now, let's see how this works out". I've been getting a lot of messages since I've been away and I just want to say I'm sorry for not replying. I've been gone for quite some time. I'm sorry.

I came back from Comic-Con not to long ago. Man, was it wonderful! I love it there!! Sure the xibition room is a little crowded...But, it's all good when you're dressed up, people seem much friendlier then. Here is a link to my journal throught the whole comic-con experiace, photos and all: http://mrsj.deviantart.com/journal/19690136/

Also, I have just fallen in love with Paul Dini and his adopted monkey Rashy.

Heath Ledger Obsessed with Joker

According to the latest in MSN news Heath Ledger became obsessed with the Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker.

"Heath Ledger was told to seek professional help for his personal problems while filming 'The Dark Knight'.

The late Australian actor - who tragically died from an accidental prescription drugs overdose in January - was reportedly warned he had become too obsessed with his portrayal of iconic Batman villain The Joker in the upcoming blockbuster.

A source told FOX News: "Heath refused to talk to anyone out of character. If you tried to communicate with him normally instead of The Joker, he would just ignore you.

"He would often come to the set to hang out even on his days off, freaking everyone out. Towards the end of filming, he was warned by people that he had gone too far, but it was almost like he couldn't connect with those who cared for him anymore."

Ledger reportedly locked himself in an apartment for an entire month before playing The Joker, who he described as a "psychotic, mass-murdering clown".

Ledger also admitted he had such trouble sleeping while shooting the film he resorted to taking the prescription drug Ambien.

Sources on the set of 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' - the movie Ledger was filming when he died - also claimed the actor could not "snap out" of character and seemed to have "lost sense" of who he was."

I never really figured an obsession could get that far out of hand. I'm obsessed with the Joker as well, but I can snap out of the character and talk to others. Sadly I feel I don't belong in the "real" world and zone out constantly. My Joker attire and everything have helped immortalize me at the school as the Crazy Clown Girl, but I don't think I'll ever get as bad as Heath. Poor guy, I wish I could have met him. He seems so sweet in his interviews.

Coulrophobia

Coulrophobia is the fear of clowns. Like all fears and phobias, clown fear is created by the unconscious mind as a protective mechanism. At some point in your past, there was likely an event linking clowns and emotional trauma. Whilst the original catalyst may have been a real-life scare of some kind, the condition can also be triggered by myriad, benign events like movies, TV, or perhaps seeing someone else experience trauma.

But, so long as the negative association is powerful enough, the unconscious mind thinks: "Ahh, this whole thing is very dangerous. How do I keep myself from getting in this kind of situation again? I know, I'll attach terrible feelings to clowns, that way I'll steer clear in future and so be safe." Just like that clown fear is born. Attaching emotions to situations is one of the primary ways that humans learn. Sometimes we just get the wiring wrong.

The two most feared clown in history are Pennywise (Stephen King's IT) and the Joker (Batman). There is good reason for this because the two of them are very sinister and adore taking the lives of others.

When I was younger I had a fear of clowns thanks to Pennywise. My mother played a prank on me telling me that Pluto (Mickey’s Dog) was on TV. Unfortunately I was young and naive. Once I reached the living room my mother played the scene from IT where the clown tries to eat Georgy with those enormous knife-like teeth. Dear god, I was scared of drains, sewers, bathrooms, anywhere there was water because that's where he would feed.

Being afraid of clowns when I was a child might have been the reason for my new found obsession with the greatest clown of all, the Joker. In some sick way they might be connected. It’s just that I think it’s too big of a coincidence that my biggest fear and my greatest passion have become one and the same.

RIP Heath Ledger

This is the first time I've cried in years. For those of you who are still full of innocent bliss I will warn you now, do not read. I've just received news that the fantastic Heath Ledger has died. Shaking as I write this, with the blurs of view I am able to see with, will surely mess up me writing. But, I have to pass on this tragic information. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22788914/?GT1=10755

Edit: This is like four hours since I posted this blog and I'm still in a puddle of tears! This is ripping me apart! The Joker's dead. It's even hard to write. It's so shocking I barely believe it while I'm writing. And the crappy thing is my mother is gone for the next few days and she's the only one who ever seems to cheer me up. Talking to her on the phone kinda helped, but this is very depressing. I don't know how I am going to cope tomorrow.

The Dark Knight (trailer)

I've seen this trailer around numerous sites for the last few days and figured, "why shouldn't I posted it on another? It's just THAT great!" So here it is. The sequel to Batman Begins with the greatest character portrayed by you-know-who. Isn't it exciting!? Unfortunately the first six minutes of this movie is no longer on youtube so I had to delete my last blog. But, I assure you this is just as great.
