I think Cable regrew himself from dna and memories from his severed arm. Either that or his arm grew a glowing eyeball and knows how to shoot without toppling over :P
Prof-X and Wolverine has always been best friends forever. So, he's on Wolvie's team for sure. Psylocke could be on Wolverine's team and Archangel on Emma's team. In a manner of speaking, all 5 of the original X-Men could be on Emma's team.
That's what I thought too... Would be interesting to see how Jean Grey comes back this time if Cyclops starts his own X-Factor team. I'm guessing Rachel Summers could be Jean's replacement.
Another thing annoying about shape shifters is that they can move their vital organs around so that a so called fatal shot to where the heart should be wouldn't work.
Here's a better question, with so little clothes covering her... How does Starfire even protect herself if she was being shot at with a gattling gun or a really wide beam shot ?
