A Marvel army

I didn't know what to call this, so I called it the Marvel Army. What this is a list of Marvel characters I would put in an army to battle a major threat. This will be hero and villain depending on whether they could be controlled. Dead characters are also up for grabs. First and foremost, Captain America leads the army.

List items

  • His brute force makes him a worthy contender. Using nanites, you cold probably control him

  • Like Abomination above, Creel has some major power. I don't think it would take a lot to persuade him, he's not the smartest, and can always be injected with the nanites.

  • When I was first creating this list, I thought of Agent X. However, his mental state could be an issue. Maverick (or Agent Zero) is a good soldier, without the hassle of having to control him

  • He has the brutality an army needs. Whilst a lone wolf, he might be able to stand people if his reservation is in danger

  • Adds some muscle to the group. The good thing about Anaconda is that she's a mercenary, so a certain amount of coins should bring her to the good side.

  • A trusted Avenger. Also, very smart and brave, which means he'll face the same battles the larger heroes would

  • Whilst cowardly, O'Grady has shown to be a hero.

  • Whilst she's a teen, she's also eager to please. Also has some strength.

  • Originally I thought of Apocalypse, but he would be impossible to coerce. Genesis however wants to do the right thing, and packs a punch to-boot

  • This guy is a pacifist, but can be used defensively if under attack, thanks to his force field type thing.

  • Another lone wolf. Arabian Knight is fast, lethal and courageous. This makes him a good person to put on a team

  • It would be good to have a precog in this battalion.

  • If controlled/threatened, Arcade can be very useful. His inventions and death traps can be a good way to take out enemies without much effort.

  • Either version of Warren Worthington would be useful. The angel version can be used with aerial assault, recon, and also carrying wounded back and forth. And Archangel can take out multiple targets at once

  • He's the god of war. He knows how to fight dirty, and can take out an entire army by himself.

  • Strong, great leadership and can take hits.

  • Armadillo has proven that he can be redeemed, and has some powerful armour

  • Powerhouse, trustworthy

  • If he could be controlled via nanites, he would be a decent ally. he has his own army, and is good in a fight

  • Bats**t insane, but fast

  • Avalanche is powerful as hell. He can be seen as a villain, but has been known to help the X-men at times

  • Powerful, and I love Awesome Andy. He's someone who can be good, but dangerous in the wrong hands

  • Balder would go wherever Thor would. He is a great tactician by himself, and has Asgardian abilities.

  • Great leader, charismatic. Is a good guy who can be trusted, and also his powers are useful

  • Another leader. He has shown that he can be a good guy, and is good in a fight

  • Trustworthy, great in a fight. Gets along with people. Incredible accuracy

  • I bet you could reprogramme him into something more friendly

  • Another character who is seen as a villain. However, when Captain America 'died', Batroc showed that he has honour. But, he's a mercenary, so he can be paid out. He's also a decent soldier

  • Will fight on the side of the angels. Strong, good fighting skills, stands with Captain America

  • One of the science guys. He also knows when to hold back, which may come in handy. Can also hold his own in battle

  • A very powerful warrior. Noble as well

  • I know he's being a bit of a jerk recently, but he's a good soldier. Expert with weapons, and if going up against energy weapons, can draw fire.

  • Powerful. Great leadership. Amazing war tactics. I would have him leading a charge

  • Whilst not as powerful as other characters, she is good at stealing things. Also, she's not bad in a fight

  • Personally, I really like Black Knight. He's trusted by many other heroes, and is very smart. Also a great sword fighter. Plus, he has a freaking winged horse!

  • I would not go into battle without T'Challa. Can attack with brute force or the stealth route. Smart and influential. Expert leadership, and well liked by many heroes.

  • The spy of the army.

  • As Blackwing, he would be a good soldier, doubled with aerial capabilities.

  • Ruthless. Amazing soldier. Lone wolf. He is also decent against non-vampiric foes.

  • Good for getting people in and out of places

  • Whilst considered a joke, I always thought Blizzard could be useful. He could have his suit upgraded by smarter people than him

  • This guy may have to be controlled, although he would probably follow his fellow Brotherhood members. Draws fire, and hell of a tank

  • Good soldier

  • Another great soldier, part of the ground force, if you will

  • A grunt of the army. But can provide cover and defensive capabilities.

  • I don't think it would take much to coerce Boomerang, he was in the Thunderbolts. He is a crack shot, and would be a nice soldier to have

  • One of the tech guys. Also, his Box battlesuit would be good on the battlefield

  • A powerhouse. Would be a terrific addition

  • He's got that lethal edge. Plus, he's a mercenary. If that doesn't work, nanites will do the job.

  • Whilst mentally unstable, he could be used to a great extent. The quiet, perfect killer. Nanites would work with him, or mental control

  • Another person I would love to have at my side. Draws fire better than nearly anyone else. Also, he can lead a squad, and is an awesome brawler. One of Caps' most trusted friends

  • The perfect soldier. Powerful, leader, massive weapons. Influential. Smart

  • A good, if you'll pardon the pun, cannonball. Point him at something and shoot

  • A must have. Most heroes would look up to him, and he could lead his own squad. Can also hold his own against most enemies.

  • One of my favourite characters. Powerful and experienced, Mar-Vell is a one man army

  • People forget about Cardiac. A decent soldier, but not good with following orders

  • This guy could be trouble. In a perfect world, Kasady can be easily controlled. If that were so, he could be an awesome weapon

  • One of Cap's most trusted

  • The leader of the army. The perfect soldier

  • Can be controlled. Science guy, as well as pretty good in a fight

  • Another 'gun' if you will. Chamber would be great in an army, causing major damage to most things

  • Now, whether he can be trusted is tricky, but he can be nanite controlled. A spy in everything he does.

  • He's a merc. A good foot soldier.

  • A brute. Put him in the front lines

  • He's been in the Thunderbolts before. A decent foot soldier

  • Great for emergency teleport.

  • Recon and aerial superiority.

  • He can be useful for getting in and out of places

  • Another of my favourite characters. Rasputin can be trusted to the end, and knows when to hold back. Whilst being able to inflict major damage, he can also be a good sandbag

  • If you could control him, Constrictor would be a great person to trap prisoners.

  • Whilst bulky, he can be pretty powerful. You don't even have to have Sandhurst flying it, just use the armour

  • Another one where, if controlled, would be a great fighter to have. Powerful beyond belief, he could be one of the heavy hitters.

  • He knows how to act like a soldier. Will need to be controlled

  • Whoever's behind the wheel, he would be one of the tanks of the army

  • Another character who would need to be nanite-controlled (especially around Captain America). But, he is a great foot soldier.

  • A marksman to be used alongside Bullseye or Hawkeye

  • Definitely needs to be tampered with. Brutal and powerful, he can be used in solo missions

  • Use him as a translator

  • One of Captain America's main advisers. Great field leader, as well as being powerful.

  • Great for taking out multiple enemies, especially when paired with Cloak

  • The ultimate form of combat computer.

  • Trustworthy. Good interrogator. Well liked. Awesome. Keep him away from Bullseye at ALL costs

  • If used properly, Daken can be every bit as useful as his dad. An assassin, but also a fighter. His pheromones can also come in handy

  • Foot soldier, aerial support.

  • A mercenary who will follow Cable most places. A nice person to put as a foot soldier

  • Mainly defensive capabilities

  • He can be trusted, and is a powerful warrior

  • Will follow Fury or Captain America. Leader, and an experienced soldier

  • I bet this guy would be a good Thunderbolt

  • If it were possible to control him, Dillon would be a lethal ally. Send him as part of a first wave

  • Put her as part of an assassin squad. Daredevil should be able to talk sense into her, or Wolverine

  • I originally thought of Enchantress, but she would be difficult to control. Executioner would probably follow Thor or Balder's lead. I would put him under Ares's control.

  • Most of the Brotherhood have made good with the X-men, and Exodus would follow Magneto. He would be good in a fight

  • Trustworthy aerial support. He's excellent at recon, and not bad at aerial combat. Will go where Rogers goes.

  • Will follow Zemo's lead. He would be good at fixing up the base

  • I always liked Firestar. She would be able to hold her own, and she can be trusted

  • Tech guy, and nice foot soldier

  • Basically a human (or mutant) stun grenade

  • I know I said I wouldn't add Agent X because of mental stability, but Deadpool is more useful. He has been serious as well as mental. A walking pincushion, damn handy in a battle. And, if he gets too annoying, fire him out of a cannon.

  • I love Deathlok. A good soldier to put on the ground team
