Miley is going to be too busy going through fame menopause to make any meaningful cultural contributions

It's rated 9+. I think it's because of the reading level. You should read some issues and decide if its appropriate or not for your daughter because everyone has different views on what's appropriate or inappropriate.

That would be the limiting factor, the series is fairly verbose. However, if the OP were looking to expose their daughter to a higher reading level, Lil' Gotham isn't a bad choice. Gore-free action, an entertaining younger cast (Colin, finally!), and best of all it's free of any New-52 retcons.

Knowing Wade, he may just be crazy enough to gouge out his own eyes before the stare could take full effect.

Because most Thor "fans" only know him from the first film. His actual readers are understandably skeptical.

Remember that what was a hard R in the 80s would not be an R today. These days, language tends to get the R more than violence.

The first time I ever got to see Robocop was during a broadcast on ABC in 1990 or 91. Even cut, it was still a great film and may people who'd seen both felt that little was lost in trimming it for television.

Ratings have nothing to do with art, it's just another form of marketing.

I'd suggest an age cap for this topic, since the 90s and 00s saw a glut of new characters.

Oldest for me would be Amazing Spider-Man 41, first Rhino. Not in the best of conditions.

Well, looking at your post history, I notice that the vast majority of your topics are about crossovers between different properties. There are a few reasons why those topics don't really function as lively discussion:

1. Many readers who have been able to experience inter-property crossovers in the past have been dissatisfied with them. Aside from the logistics of publishing the book/game/cartoon involved in the crossover (division of profits, production responsibilities, licensing, etc), the main problem with crossovers it that they are written with inherent compromise. No one wants to see their intellectual property end up on the losing end of a hypothetical battle in any kind of story that could be considered canonical by the fans.

2. Those topics have been done to death.

It's best not to tie any real value to the way people respond to your posts. I've started several topics that I thought were stimulating and worthy of debate, but only ended up buried deep in the forum a day or two later.
