Marvel isn't bad, But DC just has (sigh..had) more women to choose from.

Marvel seems to have a really weird policy when it comes to relationships. Like being in a relationship makes you come off as weak. And im not talking about Spider-man. The Thing was in a perfectly happy relationship, but left his girl standing at the alter. Wolverine was in a really good relationship with this cop who loved and accepted every aspect of his life, but they broke up for some reason. Storm and Black Panther split. Unless your name is Mr Fantastic, you can't be in a long lasting relationship.

Now being in a relationship doesn't mean that your the better portrayed character. But having such a negative outlook on relationships only hurts your character. for the most part DC does right by their women, both hero and villain. (before the reboot). You had women of various body types, like Amanda Waller, and Granny Goodness. disabled heroes, like Oracle. Raven Starfire, Black Canary, Poison Ivy. Harley Quinn. So much variety, and each one of them managed to stand on their own.

Man this is like the 3rd Marvel game to revolve around Doom forming an army of super villains, so he can obtain *blank* Other than that the game looks great.

So it's like Spider Island, but on a world wide scale and more dangerous. Sounds cool. How funny would it be to see a bunch of mutant haters get powers and attack the X-men with their own powers?

Maybe it will end with Iron Man going back in time, and throwing Thanos' mother down the stairs while shes still pregnant with him.

TMNT for the win. Deadpool doesn't have anything that Turtles haven't dealt with before. They've with expert marksman before(not to mention the fact that the turtles are expert marksmen themselves.). They deal with over the top goofiness all the time in form of Michelangelo. DP's healing factor is his biggest advantage, but it won't be long before Donny outthinks him, Leo chops his head off, Or Raph beats him to death pretending that it's Micky.

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: I doubt Thing is more durable. Author can survive the deepest pressures at the bottom of the sea. I doubt Thing can do the same. Stuff like that is more Hulk level feats.

I think most people are rating this based on comparisons to other media.

I had no expectations from the game & I'm not much of a Deadpool fan, but the game is certainly worth a look at for any gamer or comic fan. Enemies can be a little repetitive - IF - you don't bother to use combos or alternate your weapon choices.

Why would i want to use combos against enemies who can't adapt to my basic attacks? That's why combos exist. The enemies in this game don't give you incentive to switch up your play-style, which is why they get repetitive and it makes the combat feel like a chore.

Good start to another Comic based game that could use some improvement and expansion on ideas already touched on in the game.

Certainly worth a look at - and if your a fan of Action fighting games or Deadpool - worthy of buying.

Not great - but Good

7 out of 10

The few moments of surprises in the game elevate it slightly above mediocrity.

I know this is High Moon's first game, but the stench Activision's "let's flood the market with as many unpolished Marvel games because the fan-base has low standards" policy is all over this game. There won't be any improvements or expansion on ideas because they would of happened by now. The problems this game suffers from are the same problem found in Spider-man 3, X-men Destiny, Marvel Ultimate Alliance. These problems are caused by time, and rushing a game out before it's finished.

7 out of 10 is generous. It's suggests that this game is 2 or more points off from being a game of the year contender like Batman Arkham, or Mass Effect. I say If your a fan of comics demand better, and don't support the unfinished slop that's been put in front of you the past years.

Oh good, Punisher wouldn't hesitate to kill a man who stole bread to feed his family, and Bulleye can kill 6 people with a Popsicle stick. and there gonna fight Deadshot, who last i checked, was suicidal. Man Catman got screwed.

@frogdog: Peter seriously needed to grow-up, and the body swap was Marvel's way of doing it. They weren't tired of Peter Parker. Just the stupid decisions he keeps making in order for him to still appear as a child. Saving Aunt may's life despite the fact she didn't want to be saved. selling his marriage to the devil. Not having life insurance, so if he dies in battle his loved have no way of taken care of themselves (obv before May got re-married)

It wouldn't be acceptable with other heroes, because other heroes are adults who got their acts together. They don't do the juvenile things peter does.
