The first one wasn't so big as I expected, so I hope this one will be better! However I liked the acting of Cage!

Definitely without a beard! With it he looks too old and too Odin-alike, which is not bad, but he loses his identity somehow. Although there are some drawing where he's cooler with the beard! With it he looks more like a king than a warrior I think.

Well, you should definetely begin with Journey into mystery where is the actual beginning of Thor comics. The first issue when Thor is presented is Journey into myster #83 and it continues until  #125 I think. Then it begins a separate Thor comic series - Thor! Vol.1 from 1966 which consists of around 400 comic books. Then in 1998 it begins Thor Vol.2 which is of 85 comic books and finally Vol.3 from 2007 which is ongoing.

These are the main Thor series so I recommend to begin with them ;) Journey into mystery is the very beginning. If you want you can begin with Thor: The son of Asgard which is 12 issues and it tells the story of the young Thor and his comrades.

I hope this will help ;)
