I think Genesis is going to ultimately turn bad simply because everyone is lying to him, once he finds out the truth its gonna be really interesting.

Simple solutions:

1 When its time for Avengers 2 don't have Iron Man.

2 Keep him in the armor.

3 Time Leap age the character enough to where it makes some sense he doesn't look or act the way he did those years ago.

Something I didn't see you mention, in issue one where Bruce is trying out the contact computer it shows Alfred has the highest clearance, higher than Tim, Dick, and Damian.
