Off the top of my head, a list of favorite characters that have yet to formally appear in the DCnU, and most of them are unlikely to. More names to be added in case I get my brain to function.
Part of me thinks DC is likely to do something like making Jim Corrigan the Spectre again when Aztar makes his DCnU debut (which is probably going to be in Phantom Stranger's book). I heard Lobdell has plans for Eradicator, I wish they'd come up with something for Henshaw. I feel like he could be really good as a Stormwatch villain.
@CitizenBane: I know the Spectre has been mentioned in JLA and that the Question is part of the trinity along with Pandora and the Stranger now (hence why I consider adding Vic Sage on the list; the character that will appear might look like him but will not necessarily be him), but I think it's more likely to retain Crispus Allen in the role, given his rather frequent involvement in Johns' GL work.  Lobdell plans to use him in his upcoming Superman, I take it?  I didn't add the Cyborg (or Zoom), because, while I do like them a lot, I don't feel nearly as familiar with them as with some of the characters included and I'd like to read a little more of them before doing so.Â
@Morpheus_: At the SDCC Superman panel Matt Idelson said that DC was mulling a new concept for the Eradicator, so he may not necessarily be the same character either. I don't think Thawne will appear anytime soon since they haven't really delved into Barry's past (Eobard being an integral part of that) unless they plan to change that aspect of the character. Zolomon being a very Wally-centric character doesn't bode well for his chances of appearing, what with Wally himself being non-existent.
@CitizenBane: Eradicaror has gone through many stages as a character and I mostly enjoyed his Fortress form which appeared alongside Majestic in his various series. I'm not overly fond of Eobard, so I'm OK with him not appearing as of yet and yes, I acknowledge Zolomon's connection to Wally which is why I very much doubt he's going to appear anytime soon. But hey, the list isn't about characters that are meant to appear in the DCnU in the first place.   With Shiva appearing soon, Cassie and/or David have their chances of at least being referenced in some minor way. Likewise so with Nemesis and Majestros now that Liefeld seemingly wishes to delve deeper into Khera...For some reason.  Has the Red Tornado been mentioned anywhere? If not, I'll go ahead and add him.Â
I find it amusing that Todd is included in all those Bat family pics but no one ever remembers Azrael.

@entropy_aegis: LOL, I haven't noticed hate for him, people just don't remember him anymore. Stephanie Brown makes it in Bat family pictures but the guy who filled in for Batman and had his own book for 7 years doesn't. It's hilarious.

Not here,but else where JPV is despised but yeah it's perplexing to see how a character so important could just "vanish".
