I only read the first issue of G.I. Combat. It wasn't bad, but I didn't want to try reading it. I wasn't really into Men of War either. I am looking forward to the upcoming JLA.

I really like Jeff Lemire's work. I love Animal Man and thoroughly enjoy Justice League Dark since he took over (before him it was kinda lagging). When did he stop writing Frankenstein? His departure from the title might have been what caused me to drop it.

Agreed. I have already dropped both Red Lanterns (Until this month because of the 3rd Army Story Line) and Firestorm and I could easily lose one of the many Bat Titles.

I'm not familiar with the writer on this next DCU arc, but that isn't saying much as I just started reading comics again last year.

I spend about 25 to 30 bucks a week on comics, which has actually scaled back quite a bit!

Good list. I dropped Supergirl after the Banshees. I loved the series up to that point but it lost me after that. Batwoman was good but it feels a little slow for me, not enough story gets resolved and it feels like it has been going around in circles.

I can't say that this news affects me much and I can see why these titles are being canceled as all 4 of them have fallen off my list already. I see a lot of people criticizing the cancellations but in reality these aren't the only books for non-mainstream characters. There are many other, better written ones like Dial H (One of my favorite titles) and Demon Knights and DC Universe Presents ect. And I am pretty sure that all the previous titles released in the last wave were non mainstream books like Phantom Stranger, Team 7, and Sword of Sorcery. And one of them was a new hero book all together with Talon, albeit born of the Bat.

So I am facing quite a decision for next week. I try to keep my Comic Book spending down to at least close to $25 dollars a week but next week is filled with some tough choices for me. Do I want to buy DC Universe Presents #13 and Sword Of Sorcery #1? Or do I cut those two from the list for Marvel Now Point One?

: That is a pretty solid list. I dropped the Superboy title but mostly because I read Teen Titans and didn't really feel like I needed a double dose of Superboy. As for some of the titles on my list I could easily see them dropping from the list if I needed space for other comics. Suicide Squad and Ravagers are prime candidates in that arena. I'm not picking up AvX consequences because I didn't read any of AvX. In fact, I only came back to comics last year and have been reading exclusively DC Comics. With the coming Marvel Now stories though, I figured I would start checking it out again.

: Consider it done!

: Oh Yeah! I almost forgot about that. Thanks for giving me one more reason to look forward to that title!

: I think it may be a good time to jump into DK. You may be missing a bit of background on how the knights wound up in Hell, but the story should center more around Etrigan's return to hell and after reading #0 you should have enough background on Etrigan's hellish history. But I will put the book at the top of my read list and post a review on it if you want to use that as a deciding factor.

: Interesting choices! I has been reading Grifter up until about the 7th or 8th issue. I am also picking up Phantom Stranger tomorrow. Are you picking it up because you like the character, or because you enjoyed the 0 issue?

I still have quite a few bats on my list. I have the first three you mentioned. I think I am still getting Nightwing. Plus I still get Batman Inc and Birds of Prey.

GLC is ok. I wouldn't say it is the best book on my list this week. I just feel like Guy and John are not as interesting as Hal or Kyle. I am liking Simon Baz the new GL though.

I've only got three on my list this week.

Which Three? If I had to pick just three from the list above it would likely be: Batman, and Batgirl for sure. My third would most likely be GLC for the Third Army tie in.
