Did you even read this comic or did you just go on google images and look for scans. I asked you if he beat green arrow and you take it out of context to support your argument. When clearly death stroke could have killed green arrow but then he had people to pull death stroke off. Green arrow would of been dead if it wasn't for the help of everyone else. It is inconceivable that anyone in their right mind could believe that Green Arrow could beat death stroke. Death stroke out classes green arrow in almost every possible way. Unfortunately green arrow doesn't have the privilege of piss. In terms of ability I would put Green arrow at around teen titans level. Even then he would probably slow them down. Even after that I would put him at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle level. So I come back to the point, what notable person can green arrow beat?

Can we all just accept the fact that this guy is a HUGE Green Arrow hater? Green Arrow is one of the few heroes that Batman trusts. It's a big deal when Batman trusts you.
Green Arrow is awesome not "terrible" and belongs in the JLA just as much as anyone else does. Ollie there to keep their heads on straight and remind them that its not only about fighting super villains and saving alien plants it's about cleaning up their streets from drug deals, robbers etc. who cares if he doesn't fight guys like doomsday or darkside Oliver Queen fights for social justice because he believes that's more important than going in to space and saving a alien planet from a space monster. He'll tell you how it is if he doesn't believe what someone is doing is the right thing to do than he'll get right in their face no matter who it is ( superman batman GL etc) doesn't matter because he's always going to stand up for what he believes in. In my opinion GA's real "villains" are racism, teen drug abuse, teen prostitution , and so on, He's the voice of the voiceless he stands up for the guy who can't stand up for them self . No matter what happens he's always going to put other people ahead of them. He's the guy who finds out his long time partner is a junkie and wouldn't stop in till he's clean or who see's a teenage girl forced to work on the streets so he takes her in and raises her like his daughter. If you think he's "terrible" because he can't go toe to toe with a batman or superman then you my friend don't know what the Green Arrow character is truly about that his core.
So green arrows purpose is just to remind them that there are villains in the united states? If green arrow weren't there they would completely forget about the lower level villains? Even though that's where most of them started?
No he reminds them at super villains aren't the only bad guys out there he's minds them about the muggers, rapist and other small criminals on the streets of their citys. He also keeps them honest makes sure they don't go power crazy.
He makes sure they know that villains aren't the only threats to society that there is racism, drug abuse , things like that
Most of the stuff you stated is just what batman, captain america and dare devil do. Green arrow doesn't provide anything vital.

What do you mean by social justice. Batman obsessed with justice and Dare Devil is constantly fighting for justice to put away the people that get past the law. Hint why he is a vigilante and a layer. Isn't gotham full of crooked politicians and cops
Social justice- justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society.
