First time ever emailed the network to voice my hate for a costume. Even Smallvilles crap attempts at a 'costume' didn't wind me up enough to email them but that XXX porn parody did.
wonder womans costume is iconic. DC shouldn't have added pants or a jacket for its current run, and NBC should be making a PVC version with pants.
Its the same rubbish they pulled with smallville when they revealed clarks 'costume' and the new spider-man costume that looks made out of basketballs.
Having seen smallville go down the route of awful costume changes I've actually emailed NBC about this, something which i don't normally do, since im sick and tired of these needless changes.
Odin describes Valhalla as appearing shining and golden, and that it "rises peacefully" when seen from afar. From Valhalla, every day Odin chooses from those who have died in combat. Valhalla has spear-shafts for rafters, a roof thatched with shields, coats of mail are strewn over its benches, a wolf hangs in front of its west doors, and an eagle hovers above it.
They got the idea of the hall being golden... but they could have at least put in more norse knot art. This is the hall of the Gods, it won't look like just a viking throne room.

Thats not norse, hell its not even from the dark ages. Also the 13th warrior was ridiculed by dark age historians for its depiction of norse armor. We are talking 8th century here, there was no plate. You had splint and chainmail, if you could afford it. If not then it was padded.

For a superhero movie, i like the armor and they fit the marvel norse gods better, the actual norse gods have dark sides. Thor actually was more a mix of ares, hercules and thor than just thor.....
I hate it when they screw around with costumes, they are iconic and should not change. The only acceptable time for it to happen is if its a generation change (the cape going from Bruce to Dick) or its a movie.
Alternate costumes I can deal with, i am ok with black suit spidey but the classic is still my fave.

What I mean by iconic is that there is always a certain look.
With spider-man its the full body red and blue costume. With batman its the cowl, cape and full body suit.
With wonder woman to me its always been the bodice, the golden belt, tiara, gauntlets, the skirt (or lack of) and boots.
Never changing was a little strong, what i meant to say was changing the costume that doesn't add to the costume (which i dont think this does) and that goes beyond being in keeping with the look. For a good example of what I would consider adding to the costume and tweaking it (making it fresh yet still the same) have a look at the game Batman arkham asylum. Its still the batsuit, it still looks like the iconic suit, yet its been updated. Its now looks to be somewhat more armored yet hasn't changed.
For me the best update i saw with wonderwoman was in the superman arc "for Tomorrow" and also the mini amazons attack. She had the skirt (in amazons attack it was leather and armored) and a cape, but you should still yell it was wonder woman and the changes i thought where good.
This new costume to me feels like a bad black canary rip off, doesn't stand up as ironic or wonder woman and I just think it looks bad. It doesn't look like its a whole costume but instead it looks cobbled together. Its like she got up in the morning, stole some of batmans leggings, and pinched Canarys coat then went out.
Of course there are characters that are suited to ever changing costumes like Iron man as his costume is entirely tech based and stark will always want to have a new look for the armor (he has hundreds of suits, he needs to be able to tell them apart somehow).

Every human actor in there was a second fiddle. The only thing people went to see that movie for was robots beating the crap outta each other and hear Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime, and Peters voice acting out acted her.
Christina Hendricks could work, she is even a natural red head, tho it would need to be dyed redder.
