But Regular Show and Adventure Time are fun to watch.

Insert Starfire's last line here.

Can't believe I'm writing this.

I was fervently hating on this after the cancellation of the amazing Young Justice.

I sat down with my daughter to see this. She enjoyed it, I found myself laughing at the absurdity of the dialogue and situations. This show will succeed, because it's aimed at my daughter.

Young Justice should've been aimed and marketed at older people. It's why Avengers EMH failed and the sucktastic Ultimate Spiderman flourishes. [Titans Go is silly, whereas Ultimate Spider-Man is just stupid.]

I'll probably watch it, and just enjoy it.

my plans are to not watch the teen titans show at all. maybe to see if it's like the dc shorts. if they are, then i know it won't spark my interest at all.

i will check out the first show of batman. not that i don't like seeing new villains, but i think it may be a mistake not including batman's more popular ones. plus the villains they chose have very adult like gimicks. how will the make it a kid show without makinging it stupid and juvenile. will prof. pyg be his insane self trying to drug people or will he be running around making pig noises and doing swine themed crimes? i'm worried.

if i end up not liking either, i honestly won't watch CN at all. call it a boycott or whatever you want, i don't think not watching will automatically bring back YJ, but i do think if ratings are worse, they will bring in a show worth watching.

I really liked the shorts. Farm League is entertaining. Good to see Kricfalusi doing the Croaker and Wonder Wombat.

I'd like to see more Animal Man.

going off topic here, but during the promos for the last half of the 2nd season, one of the shorts they showed had Shade the Changing Man, did they show that at all? I collected the Vertigo comics back in the day, and I really loved them.

@Avenging-X-Bolt: So it's just a coincidence that a Green Lantern cartoon premiered right around the time a Green Lantern movie came out? Doesn't have to be connected, story wise. The Batman cartoon coming out isn't going to be a dark Nolan fantasy with themes about Class inequality or Man's struggle between Anarchy and Control starring the Joker and Bane, but it's Batman. A recognizable name with a somewhat successful franchise behind it. Green Lantern swung out. Why do you think the cartoons replacing them are familiar and tested properties?

I liked the Green Lantern cartoon, almost as much as Young Justice, but I seriously doubt it will be resurrected.

It'd be really cool to have a GL sequel to the first DVD only release tho. Loved the Training Day vibes.

It's what keeps the show going. Did you expect them to throw the Light into prison?

I liked the ending. It was sad, plot-wise. Some folks didn't spend enough time together before separating. Most of the threads tied up well.

It would've been nice to have the ending be a 1-2 hour special. See more of the Black Beetle fight, see some of the Runaways in action. I initially thought Vandal Savage would threaten Rimbor with destruction unless the JL was executed, and a fight would break out, but alas, the story still had the seeds of Season 3. Seeing the GL corps taking on the Reach would've been cool too.

As for the sudden appearance of Trolls, I guess My Little Pony must've wrapped up it's season, so haters gotta find something else to hate. Of course it's kind of crazy to have sidekicks taking on big baddies, but it's a cartoon. It's suppose to be fun. But with just enough adult themes and darkness to not be irritatingly "fun" and wacky like the Nutra-Sweet of Teen Titans of old. Which yes, was enjoyable, but not every cartoon has to be hip and ironic.

Wanted to Red Tornado in action!

They are cancelling Young Justice and Green Lantern TAS because toys and DVDs were not selling much. It's not Beware the Batman's fault.

Don't care. Probably will watch an episode out of curiosity.

These guys are out to make money, not art. No matter how good the show was, it's not coming back. It didn't sell toys, it didn't appeal to the target audience.

Look at Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man. One had great stories and was very well done, the other was juvenile, ironic, and extreme. Which one was canceled? People protested, but in the end, no matter what, Ultimate Spider-Man is more popular, more profitable, and therefore keeps going. And sucking. Doesn't mean I have to like it. I don't have to support the brand.

Same thing with Young Justice and GLA. I saw the last episodes, and it's very annoying and disheartening seeing the directions they were planning to go but aren't because GL tanked at the box office and no one cares about teenage MetaHumans.. The shows that are replacing them just don't seem that good to me. They're going for the target audience because Batman and for the cool nostalgia kicks with the anime flavor. Maybe I'll change my mind, but it won't be out brand loyalty.

If anything, I'm hoping that Young Justice will continue on to Direct to DVD, Redbox, or streaming. That seems the only viable choice for them to continue, with. But other than that, I don't see it coming back.

it doesnt have anything to do with this either. both shows had great ratings. its crappy merchandise sales.

Please check the beginning of my rant.

Gl did tank at the box office, whatever franchise ideas there were went down the drain with the movie-cartoon included.

Young Justice sounds like it had good ratings. But again- brand recognition. Yes, most of us know of the Justice Leauge, but some folks- myself included, did not know of about Red Tornado or Amazo, or Vandal Savage. I gave it a chance, but I don't collect toys. WB and CN are not interested in viewers like me. I just consume the cartoon.

In any case, the only viable future I see for Young Justice is DVD/Streaming movies/specials.

So much good...

Bloodlines- Loved the family dynamics, Watching the Speedsters take on Neutron was awesome.

Satisfaction- Well paced story with some good showcasing of Green Arrow's guilt over giving up on Speedy. Great action scenes!

Forgot the name- the last chapter of the Kroloteans on Earth storyline, being shocked by seeing Kaldur as a traitor. Totally bought into it and

Depths- was thrown by a total loop seeing Kaldur kills Artemis. The last scene revealing the Cloak and Daggers taking place was very satisfying.

Before The Dawn- Having Miss Martian turn Kaldur's brain into pudding was another turn of events that was not anticipated. The fight Between Blue and Black Beetle was amazing. Loved the tone of desperation running throughout the episode. Black Beetle is new favorite bad-ass.

The episode with the Luthor's proteges and Arsenal rescuing the Team was sooo gud.

Summit- Of course.

Still haven't seen Endgame, feeling sad that it's the last. Such a great show. Canceled so we can see the Nth iteration of the Dark Nite and the cutesy pop crap of Tween Titans Go bleh!

Another solid episode.

I had a loud OH SH$^!!! moment when Artemis was found out. The only plot hole was having Kaldur talk about how he defeated Deathstroke. Would've liked to have been witness to that, or at least see him fight Nightwing. But given the circumstances, and the cards dealt by Warner/CN, it was understandable. I really would've liked to see Kaldur try to rehabilitate his Dad. Pull the ol' Skywalker "I see good in you, Father." Schtick.

And how will this end? I wait with bated and sorrowful breath. One of the best superhero cartoon shows. This, Avengers EMH and some of the GL episodes, have been amazing to see, and infuriating to be taken away so soon.

Not looking forward to the Nu DC Nation.
