@kidchipotle: I wrote my comment ambiguously enough to be support or a dig at CV, but now you’ve messed that up

Literal impossible superpowers or two years' salary. Make it 50 mil, then this might be a tough decision.

@darkhoudini: I devised a quantum formula to express how much I appreciate your post but you’d need an IQ within 10 points of my own considerable score to understand it; that said, to put it into peasant terms it will suffice to say that you have done a passable job.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Batman v Superman. The themes are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of philosphy most of the themes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Lex's resentful outlook, which is deftly woven into his being. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these themes, to realise that they're not just cool- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Batman v Superman truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Zack Snyder's genius deep themes unfolds itself on their movie screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

@wolfrazer: Honestly, the SW wank is what's going. People make one big mistake with the legends timeline...it doesn't exist separate from Canon. Disney canon isn't affected at all by Legends...however, Legends still exists under the old holocron policjes that chee and comapny set down.

EVERYTHING IN LEGENDS IS SUBJECT TO THE MOVIES AND THE HIGHER CANON SOURCES. So everything within legends is subject to change according to the tech presented in the movies, movie novelizations and the animated canon. Furthermore, TCW and tos still exist as the highest tier of canon for both realities...thus the tech for those shows are the base.

Ollie wins this...he wins hard. Troopers got downed by sticks in Rogue 1. The armor isn't stopping anything, the characters are all massively slower than what is being implied, and humans are humans no matter where you go, so the geometry and anatomy doesn't change.

Like it or not, Rebels and Rogue 1 exist smack in the middle of the highest canon story point for both Legends and Mouse histories. Anything...ANYTHING that contradicts them in legends...is wrong.

Peace out.

It looks like you're trying to be aggressively ignorant, but I'll just point out that nothing the Imperial Guards did in Legends is contradicted by canon.
