@pyrogram: (Awwww! :D)

Jan nodded, wrapping his coat tighter around her body before wiping the tears from her eyes. "Okay. Th-thank you, Kurt." She wasn't sure she should thank him. But it was all she could think.

@pyrogram: Janus' eyes widened as she heard the truth. This was too much. She turned her head away and threw up. "I don't know... I don't care. Just get me out of here, Mr. Pendragon."

@pyrogram: "W-what?" She whimpered. "I can't even go home? Is... do you mean Sangria could have infected more people?" Janus was so tired. After the fight, the constant state of fear... she was exhausted. She had so many questions, but part of her didn't even want answers. She wanted to never know. She wanted to pretend none of this happened.

@pyrogram: "New York City. But I don't..." she choked as she leaned into Kurt's chest, "I don't want to know..."

@pyrogram: She looked at the badge before taking the jacket and wrapping it around herself. Her hand covered her mouth. "S-Sangria? It... possessed me?" The woman's eyes welled with tears as she saw the picture. She felt sick, like she was going to vomit. She didn't know how to process this. She knew of some organisms completely controlling another, but she had never seen it in a human. She'd... oh, my god... what had she done while infected? She couldn't remember anything. She felt herself hyperventilating, and she curled up in his jacket before sobbing. Jan was so scared. She knew something was terribly wrong. "I want to go home... PLEASE."

@pyrogram: Jade Sangria's eyes blazed as she watched Kurt fly away with Janus. "This isn't over, sweetheart." She swung the weapon over her shoulder and walked off into the night. There would have to be a regrouping. These nanobots would be a problem.

Jan fell into unconsciousness as she was lifted and flown to the top of a nearby building. As the adrenalin coursed through her veins, she sat up with a gasp. Her green eyes caught sight of Kurt and widened as she tried to crawl away. She had no idea what was going on. The chemist only knew there was a strange man hovering over her while she was in nothing but her underwear. "Get away from me!" She screamed.

@pyrogram: Sangria grasped as she felt the familiar pinch of metal as a syringe pierced her skin. "NO! You'll never stop us!" She howled as the invisible war took place inside her, the nanites' synthetic evolution trumping those of the natural bacteria. Her eyes rolled back as her body convulsed, ripples echoing through the hive-mind. There was a crash as a grenade was hurled through the window. Without waiting for the explosion, a furry of automatic gunfire rang out as a green haired woman approached the apartment before taking cover.

@pyrogram: For once in her conscious existence, Sangria's confidence faltered. Her green eyes widened in dread. Nanobots? Nanites could easily pose a threat to her microorganism entity. As she saw the constructed arrow, the bacteria within the ring were already hard at work using their mistress' command to fight the energy, control it even as he did. The microbes managed to dissolve the arrow before it reached her, but the small amount would need more ATP soon if it was to retain its control. The Lady in Red was tackled to the ground by Kurt with a grunt. He knew her secret. Only one of two people not possessed understood her nature. If she had any doubt, now she knew Pendragon could not be allowed to live. She struggled under him, reaching her fingers toward the fallen gun.

@pyrogram: "Oh, yes, Kurt. But even if Janus dies, I'll still be around." Her scarlet lips curled into a smile. "I am smart. That's why when you gave me your ring, I installed a little insurance policy. You won't be using your powers with that little trinket. It has as much me in it as it does you." Sangria had already called aid at his first attack. Now, she was just stalling.

@pyrogram: If there was a benefit to being a hive-mind, it was learned skills. She was still mostly confined to Jan's physical capabilities, but Sangria wasn't completely harmless. With a quick sidestep and block, she saved herself from the sharp blow, throwing a punch with her free hand into his side while his form was pressed into his initial assault. "Oops." She shrugged with a smirk as she bolted past him to grab her purse. From it, she pulled a pistol, the one Kurt had given her. She pointed it toward him.
