Ask Bruce to fund an investigative blog...

I mean seriously he's lived in a run down apartment for years Bruce could probably support him for a decade on the "change" he pulls out of his left pocket

I feel like the last person DC wants to piss off would be Snyder. He's got a big enough fan base plus his track record on American Vampire proves he could probably do pretty well with creator owned. Not to mention he seems like such a sweet guy, this wouldn't be a liefield twitter rampage, if DC crossed Snyder in the wrong way you know he would probably put his side across in a very sympathetic way, so i'm inclined to believe that Didio was more then happy to give him a superman story (cause im guessing the MOS book was in the works already for the 75th anniversary) just as im sure they would have given him booster gold, legion of heroes, or a solo etrigan series with him as a pirate.

This issue was everything I was hoping it was going to be. I didn't even think about the scar when I read that page. I wonder though does Superman have a healing factor in the traditional sense, he can certainly recover faster closer to the sun, but maybe whatever caused the scar happened in the dark?

I like the concept that his powers are finite relative to the sun, that's what makes Apollo an interesting character. However 5 days out of contact exerting an incredible effort (well theoretically at least) and he drops a single bead of sweat? Lobdell is trying to give Superman fan boys a moment here so I won't bash it but its true this does make it harder for writers to write him then other characters.

Bless Lobdell's gift with dialogue, he actually makes these characters sound like people talking to each other, especially Superman. This issue fits so much better with his rebooted younger age then the previous 12 did.

My only complaint (and using that loosely) is that we only get this one issue before the crossover happens, not that im not looking forward to it but it would have been nice to see strictly Lobdell's superman without the tie ins for another month or two.

Titans 13 shows that he's still alive, that should be an interesting development. Looks like a Titans/Birds of Prey crossover is in the works.

As someone who used to be a big anime fan I really shouldn't have been caught off guard by branaiac's tentacles givin PG the squeeze...

AmeComi does prove that plot can exist side by side with fan service. It is also an entertaining read, especially Duela's character, not to mention the female Flash is a very interesting take on the character.

Ugh that scene with Pepper in that harness is freakin me out I really don't want her to die, and if she has to I don't want it to be a bad/painful death. It looks like theres some sort of cannister attached to the harness maybe she's going to be pumped full of the extremis serum.

New 52 Jason stomps Dick. All caste training and more experienced hero at this point since Nightwing was never a leaguer or apparently anything outside Gotham

It depends on how many Regular Show villains are involved in this.

Gonna go with Adventure Time, Death Punch is powerful but I think Marcelline is more durable

Mandarin's voice sounds very odd. Not threatening, but kind of... monotone.

Yeah, agreed... He really sound bored out of his mind. But what do you expect when a actor like him plays the villain in a superhero movie.

Does anybody else thinks his rings are really super powered or are just for the show?

Could go either way, they might be trophy's or he might actually use them for powers. Besides the Iron Patriot/War Machine we don't really see any other villains in this so maybe that's what messes Tony up so much.

Anyone think Pepper is going to bite the big one? I almost feel like it would bring Tony's character in a much darker direction, to dark for the films overall. Would make him an asshole for Avengers 2 setting up for Iron Man 4 I guess.

Alucard.

Entertaining fight for sure, Alucard might let it drag out if he finds Vincent's abilities entertaining but he could take him by powering up.
