Probably not and I won't argue with them over it, this is a different version of the character they love after all and it wouldn't be unfair of them to not like it because of that. The biggest question is does the new Constantine series need to win over hellblazer fans? and once again the answer is No, JLD dark fans will pick this up as well as people who have read him in Animal man and liked him. As long as the writing is good this book will be fine.

Hmmm, Not a huge fan of Foxx but I would def be interested in seeing him play a Villain. I hope they go evil with it though not like Sandman in Spiderman 3 and even Connors in the reboot was Dr.Hyde/Mr.Jekyll about it.

I would say milking it because Dollar Bill was probably the least mentioned/fleshed out character from the Watchmen universe. But I've been pretty loving Minutemen so I guess I'll give it a shot, I just can't think of any bits of information we've gotten on him in either the original comic or in Before so far that could be fleshed out.

Awesome. Dollar bill is my favorite of the minutemen.

Does this mean I might actually get a mothman one shot.

YIPPIE

Now that I would get excited for.

I think the Knights of the Republic were better written than any Star Wars movie in the last quarter century. Why not base something on that? Kreia, anyone?

Im not much of a Star Wars fan but would love to see a trilogy based out of the Old Republic era

There is a wide difference between being religious and being atheist. Given the beings he's met atheist wouldn't be accurate unless he denies there existence, he's fought gods and fought with them after all. It doesn't mean he's cracking open a bible when he relaxes at the fortress of solitude.

He doesn't belong to any organized religion, his moral code comes from himself. Maybe a religious upbringing helped impart that on him but he's not doing what he does for "God" or to improve his standing for an afterlife.

On a side note to that... Agnostic is not a label. It is a modifier. You can't be "an agnostic." People who use that term are using it wrong in most cases and are more over using it out of fear of derision from theist or are ignorant in general. Further more it is somewhat of a dumb modifier to use in the modern day because the modern outlook is that of Agnosticism, which is that that there is nothing one can know absolutely. Gnosticism on the other hand is that one can know things absolutely and anyone that claims anything with the gnostic modifier is generally an idiot, especially in the areas where people tend to like to use it, in theology.

What are you going on about? Organized religion still runs on the basis of blind faith so its ridiculous to say the modern view point is agnosticism. One can certainly be an Agnostic, it is a view/philosophy that one can adopt as there own exactly the same way as someone can be Catholic or Muslim.

@LoganRogue24: Miligan tried to make that work but it only made Logan look like a pedophile.

lol to be fair he's like what 120? Anyone he dates is going to be a 1/4 his age at best.

Im not for it but I can't say its totally forced either. They obviously have a long working relationship and sometimes that does turn into something more. I would like to see at the end of this they end it amicably saying they made sense more as friends.

Omg more plot stuffed into the clone wars days, because were only on 5 seasons of adventures that were slammed in however long of a timeline happened between 2 and 3. Unless its going to be episode 7, which would be ridiculous since the rebels blew up the second death star beating the empire once and for all. Isn't this the same amount they bought Marvel for?

Oh interesting this is where there introducing the Falcon, he's going to be in the new Avengers cartoon because of this. Still don't get why there not going with Black Panther instead.

Black Panther has NONE business being in this movie.. its the same as putting Daredevil instead of Falcon as Captain America's sidekick just for the sake of introducing him in the movie universe

I was referring to the overall avengers franchise. But Black Panther would make a lot more sense then Daredevil as a long time Avenger.

I don't get why everybody is so hang up on continuity and if some old stories happend or not? Except maybe for fleshing out the characters involved. But to that i just say read on and new history will be made.

I'm 36 so i've been reading comics for about 25 years now, some of you might not have been born when i started reading so why care about that history. Those stories are still around and you are free to pick up an old comic and read it.

I see people say that wolfmans run was their most favorite part in DC history. Well it still can be, it's not forbidden to still read these comics and enjoy them.

The only thing i'm upset with is that imo comic stories of today are not as good as they were back then. For instance, for me nobody has come close to Claremonts run on x-men and sadly thats a lot of stories that i didn't enjoy as much as i did back then.

I feel a reboot is good from time to time, cause these universes get really restricted on what writers can do with a character because of some story that happend 25 years ago. I still want a proper reboot for marvel right now. If i'm going to be reading about the same old characters when i'm 65 (lets face it people 25 years from now cyclops will still be in his thirties and leading the x-men), i'd really prefer a clean slate now and then so we can have some great stories that otherwise couldn't happen.
