@teerack: i hope not but from the previews that ive seen today to me that what it feels like like hes swinging around to city find out what has happened to his reputation
from the preview that was on this site i think ill pass just on the fact that it looks like this whole issue is just peter finding out what has happened since hes been gone by swinging around the city and that doesn't make since because if you had your body hijacked for x amount of time wouldn't the first thing you do is find out what happened while you've been gone? by talking to the people who know your spiderman or maybe google your self too get the information and not swinging around the city like the last x months didn't happen to you
@comedy_brosusa: no your right dc is coming a little late to the party but the problem that i see is that how long can the movie industry keep making superhero movies before people get tiered of them like the action porn movies of the late 80s early 90s or the westerns of old where getting some where in between 2 to 5 of them coming out yearly now so how long until people just get burned out on them and with a release window somewhere in 2018 that could be too little too late for dc / wb
so the new tenth realm is haven and odin banged a angel their then banished? the whole realm so no one would know?..................................................... hmmmmm sigh this is stupid i cant even find words right now
but Jason Aaron and Al Ewing are writing it and they been doing good work on thor and loki so maybe just maybe they can make this seem less stupid that what it all ready is
this is one of the problems that i see with marvel (more so now than dc since their relaunch involving major events) who pumps out event after event after event like their trying to make their yearly quota and that hurts the company a lot for me a event should be a EVENT case and point the Olympics are a event held every 4 years why'll the Superbowl is just the last game of the season for the NFL now both are good to watch but can you imagine if the Olympics where yearly it would lose what makes the Olympics the Olympics and it would just be another sporting event the same can be said for comics when a company like marvel pushes out like 3 major events and just as many if not more smaller events a year they lose what makes them special and just become over priced mini series's
i think events manly the bigger events should only happen at the very least 2 years because that would give the company time to think the event out months if not years in advance and deliver a good story the same goes for smaller events have them be yearly but don't over do them (like dc did with the lantern cross overs) have only one group or category of heroes have the event and then rotate the following year this way it also help out the heroes so we don't get hero fatigue
@micah: thats true if you been around for years like what dc and marvel has you do run out of story ideas and your characters do become outdated but ultimately thats what reboots are for and for me i think marvel needs to do a company wide reboot to fix the issues that they have to help them stay fresh
i know its unpopular and fan boys / girls will bitch, moan and groan about it but its true especially when you have a parent company that is likely too shut you down if you where to hit the red for not making profit or not making enough profit
@lazz33: the sad thing is that with all the problems marvel has they needs to hit that big red reboot button (just like dc does ever 30 to 40 years) and start over because band-aids in the form of all these "new" number ones (of which will get caned befor they even make it to the year and a half mark) or new volumes for all ready running franchises arent helping and if history repeats its self with marvel like what happened less than 20 years ago when they went bankrupt then they will close their doors for good and thats not good for anyone
@redwingx: because the marvel fan boy / girls will eat this up and the company can still say that their the house of ideas when in truth they havent had a original or a good idea in years
