For some reason, the black and white artwork showing the Avengers being interviewed kinda reminds me of the Minute Men' from Allan Moore's Watchmen. Really cool.
And I love Dustin Nguyen's 'Robin Collection'.
Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne and Carrie Kelly!:D
Villains no matter how pure EVIL they can be, sometimes have that trait in them that makes them immensely intriguing. Take the Godfather films for example. These flicks center around the mob and their criminal ways but somehow shows a side of them that can be considered 'honorable' in a skewed point of view. I have Azarello's Joker and I think it's a great point-of-view story of Batman's arch-nemesis.
Politics in comics can either be really good or just plain bad. It depends really on how it is integrated upon the main plot and how it manages to escape from being just another historic backdrop.
For me to love my Batman comic... it needs to have a story... and a damn good one at that! It also has to come with amazing artwork to complement its plot and pacing. When those two are met... I'm a satisfied Bat-Fan.
