Batman has been around for so many years now. I think he expanded the cave bit by bit instead of creating the whole thing in all its glory in one seating.
Oh and I don't think he has only ONE batcave, but several interconnecting bases of operation scattered throughout Gotham.
Wow. That Zu-Ren-Arrh Thing at R.I.P (which I have read and finished about 2 years ago).. is that fact?!?
If it really is and that is what Morrison truly meant.. then consider me mind blown.
How can he think anyone with no proper directions can come up with that as an explanation?!
oh.. and about that "Hole In Things" thing.
ain't that Dr. Hurt himself? I mean he IS the hole in things. That's why many readers and batfans consider him as The Devil himself taunting batman in a very personal level.
I kinda hate what happened to the English vocabulary, now that were looking back at these things and seeing double. It kinda messes things up for what the old things are originally meant for.
Hmm.. I'd like to think that the "fictional" cities DC use are representations of real cities. Gotham for example is a mash-up of Tokyo, New York, Chicago and Kowloon just like in Chris Nolan's interpretation.
