Don't get me wrong, his performance was spectacular. He played a brilliantly dark and complex character but to me he just didn't play the Joker, the character of the Joker was not there. To me Mark Hammil is the best Joker (come on he has mARKHAMill in his name) or even Jack Nicholson, both these actors captured the fun and humor to the character mixed with the psychotic evil of his nature. Heath Ledger's Joker didn't have the laughter, the energy and charisma that makes the Joker the Joker. In the live action versions my favorite portrayal as the Joker is probably Cameron Monaghan from Gotham.
So what do you think? Is there anybody who agrees me? And if you think I'm wrong... why?
