I'd rather Bane just reform totally and join the Bat-Family, than be Bruce's brother. Bruce needs a same age consultant type. All of his "soldiers" are much younger.
Could you imagine how awkward that would be if he was a member of the Bat-Family. At the first meeting: "Hey Bruce, still have those back problems?" "Hey Damien, I screwed your mother." "Hey Dick, how'd you like seeing me break your boss and almost destory your entire way of life?" Plus if we learned anything from his time with Ra's he'll just annoy the crap out of Batman and be a complete and utter @$$ the whole time to Batman.
#479 for me, would have been higher if I'd known earlier that this quest was put up, it was sooo easy, it even included a writer who's autograph I have on my copy of X-Men #1, he's also one of my favorite writers too! :)
