Hyperlight: If you read the first 5 issues, you'll see that aparently Adam doesn't know what to do in a combat situation, i think this version of MM has more to do with a secret organization than with a public superteam, and Apollo still absorbs solar energy, can fly, is superstrong, near invulnerable and can shoot eye beams, but also he can proyect energy throug his hands and manipulate electromagnetic waves, at least enough to crack SW comunications.

These are my impresions of the show, i don't mean to offend you.

First when i saw announced it didn't get my atention because it the hook was JJ Abrahams and he lost me went Alias was turned from a spy show to a Indiana Jones quest for a Nostradamus expy writeings, and Lost was so demanding that i droped it; then Jim Caviesel, i liked him in Red thin line, but since The Passion made me hate anyone involved(except Monica Belluci) and for my social democratic sesnsibility it was a Patrot act suport show(not that i believe it's made whith that pourpose, but that it says that in good hands it could be beneficial), and even when it won the People's choise Award for new dramathic series i was't still interested.

It picked my couriosity when i heard the the real creator is as you say Christopher Nolan's brother and co-writer for the dark knight trylogy, and the actor who plays the billionare is the voice actor for the Joker in the coming 2 part animated adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns, and i saw the first chapter. I liked the general concept, but it's more like the original Birds of pray(whith just Oracle and Black Canary), and it has a hudge elephant on teh room; i like the fact tha they only know the name of a person and don't know if is the victim or the criminal and the must find it out before it's too late(kind of like True Calling, a show whith Eliza Dushku and Zack Galifianakys, yes the guy fro the hangover) but if the billionare created the machine, how is that he doesn't know how it works? it would've had more sense if he had an actual magic 8 ball, that he had used to win the lotery and then make it big in Wall Street and after the bad thing happened he'd realized he could use his magic ball to save lives, and the rest would be the same.

No, we don't need it. They are just not that good. Most times, they stick to the overused formula : villains unite, heroes meet, fight and realise they are both good guys, heroes beat villains.

Yes, and in some cases like the 2nd Spiderman/Superman crossover and the x-men and teen titans they were basicly Superman vs Dr. Doom and X-men vs Darkseid(plus wolverine vs deathstroke) whith the other participants as filler, and in the firs Spiderman/Superman everybody acepts that the beloved Superman has kidnaped one of his main fans(Lois Lane) and a random girl called Mary Jane Watson and the wanted vigilante Spiderman is going to rescue them, while it should made more sense the other way. Maybe they should made more intercompany hero vs villain or make belieble when 2 heroes should fight.

The only reason Joker is alive in DCU is because he stays in gotham. Why he doesn't put a foot on Star City?, where the local hero has a no kill policy but the man behind the mask don't. Ollie killed the guy who raped Dinah, menaced to kill Onomathopeia after he shot Connor and put an arrow in Prometeus' head after Lian, do you imagine how much would the Jocker lasted if instead of Jason it would be Roy or Mia?

And yes, when well writen Jocker is a genious tactitian who doesn't fear death, and GA isn't as great as Batman, but in the end theres no doubt how things would end.

1) full mask is reasonable for a human lantern operating on earth if they don't want put their families and friends, neightbors or co-workers in danger. But that mask is ugly, and if he is a car thief, does make sense that he looks like a car thief if he is a superhero?

2) A car thief qualifies to be a Green Lantern? why not a fireman, a paramedic or any job that requires people be fearless, take a real life hero and make him(her) a superhero? or a non- powered superhero?

3) Arab-american male, why not just arab, why male, why even human( it's suposed that sector one space sector contains many populated planets, isn't?

4)In the cover his skin look darker than in the interiors, did you noted that?

Point 1) The obvious choises are street levellers like Daredevil, Moon Knight, or now Green Arrow since they require a lower bugget.

Point 2) Every comic character too flashy(whith powers that require a lot of digital efects) require to be downgraded to reduce expenses, Alphas is basicly a cheaper version of the X-Men, or made animated(or they have the risk of look like the power rangers).

Point 3) There must be animated shows made by HBO or Showtime, NO MORE CARTOON NETWORK OR DISNEY XD, Young Justice is a nice show, but the Latin American version of CN hates it, and only broadcasted it for a mont, and XD demand tha if you want to watch the AEMH then you wake up early of keep awake until 1:30 a.m. Commonly networks understand animated as for kinds, unless is a dark comedy show, and since i don't see a Superman, Spiderman or Green Lantern as a gritty cartoon, they could try Suicide Squad, Secret Six, Deadpool, Uncanny X-Force, Astro city, Irredemeble, etc.

Now i would like to see a real action show based on the Defenders( made like Alphas but whith mistic themes), Sleeper( it has powers and sci-fy but was more bullets and paranoia), or one based on 3 or 4 street levellers joining to clean a city or take down a big crime cartel( they could go whith Marvel Knights or Bat Family or something alike).

If someone like say Flash(who acordingto G-man can now react and think at the same speed he can move) fights Midnighter, then MN looses. The idea of MN being invencible is a misconception that many people shares, otherwise why should he be on a team.

I beg for my life sir, english is not my firs language, but my point remains the same, considering that catholicism is not christianity is like considering that Canada, Argentina or Brazil are not America just because they are not part of the U.S. By the way i am a deist.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say that everyone was finding a way to beat them for a while, but my thought would be more cameos like we had in I, Vampire, which clearly doesn't follow that pattern. It's actually much more like Planetary (which really is what I thought this incarnation of Stormwatch was going to be like when I first heard about it) in which this team that's mostly unknown to the rest of the world shows up when weird things happen (and pretty much any conflict in any of the other books could fall into that category) and gets involved in fixing it. And they wouldn't even need to make themselves known every time. They could be working behind the scenes (because that's supposed to be their thing, right?) and only the reader sees how much of a role they play when they pop into another character or team's book because they never actually interact. They wouldn't be trying to fight the good guys in every book they appeared in, so they wouldn't need to be used as stepping stones. They'd be the secret professionals that they're billed as and they'd come in, deal with part of the problem, and get out. Being used in other comics wouldn't put them any more under the thumb of the creators you mentioned any more than they were in I, Vampire, and that worked out. I'd love Jenkins to take over if he kept up the standard he brought with his two issues, but seeing as neither that nor what I'm suggesting is ever going to happen anyway, I prefer the idea of them operating this way, since it's far more fitting for what they're "supposed" to be." Well, but a)if they don't have their own title they are inserius danger of fall into oscurity, and b)whiout said title they are at the mercy of the writer of the title they apear as guest-stars,if he or she gives them a nice treat is good but he/she could write them totally out of character whithout something to contrast it.
