I'd say Andferne seeing as he's the only one, in my knowledge, that actually studies martial arts in real life.

Con knows Martial Arts but I don't really use it in RPs

But as I always said the belts are just a a tool to show off.. if you can't apply what you learned then what good is it?

I've also practice a few things straight from books (Semai - Do Karate) and videos from random martial arts and have applied them in real combat before. Some worked others didn't, but yeah... The official woulds be green belt in Saul Martinez's Tae kwon do school ;) 
 
Still Im a student of all martial arts. Im great at grappling as well. I've submitted my friends and my brother several times for been A-holes towards me :) 
 
This reminds me of a friend of mine who have trained on his own for several years with me as an instructor teaching him what I've learned. He was challenged by a actual sensei to be taught a lesson. (The guy from the school wanted my friend as a student in his school) He said: "You can play around all you want but without a real instructure all you're doing is wasting your time." 
 
True enough because from me all he would learn would of been just a few years of TKD. But there is something that they didn't realize. 
 
My friend (Who took his training seriously) He went against the teacher's best green belt (at the time) and my friend practically just played with him. My friend was sharper than the green belt. See we were incredibly dedicated and trained our butts off to get as close to perfection as we possibly could and then fought ourselves in combat. (Hitting hard but not to the face or nuts although sometimes we kind of forgot this rule and [BING} Nut shot! :P ) 
 
So we knew what worked and what didn't. In other words we knew how to apply it.
 
 Sure is better to go with a real instructor but that particular sensei also needs to learn that belts are just there to show more or less the level of the student; You can be a black belt because you know the art but that don't mean you are a great fighter.  You just know the art.
 
Get in combat with a friend and apply it. Check what works and what don't then fight otherwise you will be just another black belt who can't fight...

Whoo I know a couple black belts that can't fight AT ALL. I don't practice a specific style of martial arts, but I would wrestle and spar with my friend who knew Muay Thai, and I was able to personally throw around some of those before mentioned black belts. That's why in my personal opinion while training and structure is good, experience trumps all.
 
Now for RP's I had my character use Muay Thai as his personal fighting style because I was both familiar with some of the moves and because it's a little simpler than some styles with more "finesse"
