Bachalo's best work is EASILY steampunk. Since then it's like he's just throwing together anything. In one panel, he had kid gladiators forearm as a simple cylinder. I was like "ok come on man.". I'm not a bachalo hater at all, but like so many have said, it is hard to tell whats going on in a lot of his panels. Why are people even mentioning greg land? He is a disgrace. Until he actually draws, I won't give him any respect.

Marvel keeps getting worse and worse and worse. They did the same thing last decade when the xmen movie came out. "Hey the xmen wear black leather in the movie, I know, lets make them wear black leather in the comics." A few years later "you know, this looks pretty boring." "yeah, wolverine looks like a chip n dale stripper. Lets bring back the old look."
Now cap looks like he can barely move, much less do his acrobat thing. The New 52 got it right by making changes, but essentially keeping things the same. Yes I know that there are some artists who don't understand and draw superman like he's wearing plate armor instead of a form fitting suit, but over all, the new 52 is an improvement. This Marvel Now bs is just more gimmick crap from marvel. The best modern update to cap was the ultimates 2 version. He looks like he's got way too much crap going on with that suit. I'm half expecting the shield to now be a flat gray.
"hey so listen, we need you to spit during the torture to give it a grittier vibe you know? Like it's so painfull that you just have to show your teeth, breath heavy, and have spit fly out of your mouth. OH OH, be carefull now, don't look like you're in pain, well look like you're in pain, but keep a mean expression on your face. That way you know, you're still tough and cool."
i think aquaman should've been replaced seeing as he has a poor comic existence...
uh....have you been reading the new 52 aquaman? Geoff Johns is a genius. I'm actually reading wonder woman AND aquaman.
Am I the only person that can't stand jurgens or perez?! I could tell right away that jurgens drew the cover. Look at the waist area and how the legs are just kind of stuck to them instead of being a part of the torso. Perez and Jurgens, both have no evolved their drawing styles one bit. It's like they think it's still 1992. Everything from their art and writing just feels corny. Maybe we can get Geoff Johns to write superman also?
