@house_mouse: It's infuriating. And the thing is...he is capable of good art! He had a run on Birds of Prey a LONG time ago when he was with DC and it isn't even recognizable as his art. He sacrificed quality and ethics (it's been proven he's traced other artists' art!) for more work and making deadlines. It's wild to me that somebody would do that, and maddening because he hasn't always been that way.
And yeah, I definitely get you, I'm the same way with my art (writing). I intend to make a job out of it one day, but I know for a fact that I could never work as a comic book writer under those stringent deadlines.
What drives me bonkers is that they chose his art for a Women of Marvel anthology.....which tells you how in touch with marketing that Marvel is.
I'm a little surprised the votes were that close. I personally prefer Mask of the Phantasm, but it seems that fandom (or at least the vocal part on CV) as a whole vastly prefers Under the Red Hood. I thought that would've won by a landslide.
@lord44: Hi, CV has a no f-bomb policy, and regardless of whether or not that had swearing in it, it's really not appropriate (regardless of the content of this thread). In the future, please refrain from posting stuff like that. Thanks.
